  1. Hey guys, I've got a quick question for you: I'm trying to decide what water cooling setup to buy for my 980 TI, and I'm not sure about compatibility between the stock back plate that comes with the 3VGA 980 TI and the EKWB Titan X water block... I would like to avoid buying a separate back plate if possible, and I just want to make sure that the water block will be compatible with the stock back plate. Thanks guys! ~RabidBurn
  2. Read the manual for the motherboard, there should be two pins where you will eventually plug in the power button from the case. If you don't have an onboard power button on the motherboard itself, you can short out those two pins with anything metal (say, a key or screwdriver) two turn on the computer. RabidBurn
  3. Sorry to revive this post, but the alternative was to start up a whole new onw... Say I'm doing a custom water cooling loop on my CPU and GPU. My GPU comes with a stock air cooler, so no problems there, but how do I keep the CPU cool while I'm testing the components before installing the cooler? Should I just install the CPU cooler in a small isolated loop, and then complete the loop once I've confirmed that all the other components work? Thanks! RabidBurn
  4. Great, thanks guys! Everyone on this forum is incredibly helpful! RabidBurn
  5. Bump, can anyone else confirm that the 980 TI will use the same water blocks as the Titan X does? I don't want to go out and waste money... RabidBurn
  6. I ended up cancelling my Titan X and getting the 980 TI instead. Is it for sure that the 980 TI will use the Titan X water block? RabidBurn
  7. Okay, this is pretty much what I was thinking. Anyone have any kind of idea just WHEN I'll actually be able to buy one? Newegg and nVidia are out of stock, and NCIX doesn't even show it... RabidBurn
  8. Hey guys, I literally ordered my Titan X about 20 minutes before I heard about the 980 TI from Linus' video, so I'd like your opinion. My Titan X is on back order, so I have the opportunity to cancel the order. I'd like to water cool whatever card I get. Do you think I should cancel the order on my Titan X and wait for the 980 TI to be in stock, along with the corresponding full cover water block? Or should I just stick with my purchase? Any estimates on how long it will take to get a full cover water block for the 980 TI? Will it be a few weeks, or more along the lines of months? Thanks guys! RabidBurn
  9. Would these fans be alright for a triple 120mm rad?
  10. Sorry, could you link me to that pump? I can't find it on any canadian websites
  11. True, looks like I might end up getting a hydro copper series anyways... Okay, thanks! I'll look into those pumps! RabidBurn
  12. Hey guys, a few more questions: First, I'm getting a full cover water block for a titan x, do I really need to get a back plate? Am I losing anything if I don't? Second, I'm really stuck on what pump to get. I don't want to spend too much money on it, but at the same time, I need it to be reliable. Any recommendations? Third, would this fan be enough for a triple 120mm rad? Are they strong enough? Thanks! RabidBurn
