  1. I am not sure which works better than the other so would like help with that if anyone knows because I have gotten fans on numerous occasions and they say so many cfm - to Db but they are not even in the ballpark.
  2. OK I am very interested in this and have a few nice ones 20mm them make a yate loon fan that is awesome! http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7559/fan-455/Yate_Loon_120mm_x_20mm_Slim_Fan_-_Low_Speed_D12SL-12C.html for 15mm http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NOTVCUQ/ref=gno_cart_title_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G9WDYEC/ref=pd_luc_rh_sbs_02_04_t_img_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T9D680U/ref=pd_luc_rh_sbs_02_01_t_img_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1 http://www.amazon.com/Scythe-Slip-Stream-120mm-SY1212SL12L/dp/B002CYPWTG They also make 12 mm scythe fans but it is garbage. They have more choices Like this http://www.amazon.com/Gelid-Slim-12-PL-Silent/dp/B00CS102SE/ref=sr_1_10?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1431705790&sr=1-10&keywords=slim+120mm+fan (that one comes in red blue or white leds) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835705067 Aswell as that one but that last 2 are color themed and may not work with your build where the others are more monochrome or black the silver stone slim also comes in white blade blue body design.
  3. I spose I could do that and have thought of that but the heatpipe arrangement and setup isn't as well made as aftermarket coolers usually. I feel the best bet is getting an Itx gpu allowing myself room to mount fans upfront to dump hot air out. With the hadron there are a bunch of predrilled holes in the front ( I am not sure why since they in no way do anything with them.) I have a slim 120 uptop and then could put a extra thick 120 on the bottom. I don't really want to swap out gpu's but for space I may have to. I appreciate the input as its hard finding info when making stuff that doesn't belong fit. Do you think http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G9WDYEC/ref=pd_luc_rh_sbs_02_04_t_img_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1Is an accurate reading for cfm it seems very high ( for a slim) This is newegg on another nice slim fan http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815256007. My goal isn't overall modifying the gpu just to obtain near silence and decent airflow so when I play cities skyline or render something my computer doesn't sound like it is gonna take off. I mean that would involve isolating which causes the most noise and changing that however it is mostly a heat thing. In retrospec the best bet is looking like getting some air in the case moving a bit more and having somewhere better for it to go. If that would be the case any help finding the best slim 120mm fan and 80mm fan?
  4. Thank you it is appreciated Honestly with my custom tubed corsair and white on black through out it looks very nice to me if you wished to see some pics. I am really only looking for improved airflow because of the evgas poor quility psu. I was going to take a 40mm noctua and 40mm scythe fan since the spin opposite ways it would increase it cfw dramatically and stack them. It is just hard when it is $30 for such silly fans. However do to the cases size and how its layout is there is not much more I can do for airflow. I was able to fit a nice slim 120mm in the front though to help move a good bit.
  5. I didn't think so as there is a very specific reason jet engines are designed in a manner such as that apposed to propellers propulsion. I appreciate your input as it helps only confirm that. I feel it would only work if I was able to make the fan blades MUCH thicker.
  6. I am wondering if any one has taken a aftermarket style gpu and converted it in a sense to blower by sealing off the sides? I have a zotac 770 and was thinking of making it so the airflow pulls in and instead of dispersing it into the case it would push it out the back. Now it may seem a tad silly but I have a heavily modified evga hadron AIR with clc liquid cooler aswell as some other parts that generate a good bit of heat. I have removed the from door and allowed it to pass air though the front but I would like to make the air do as I stated. Does anyone have any experience or any thing they could say that would make me rethink this idea?
