  1. So I'm going to order all these parts sometime next month and I'm going for a budget build. Would a after-market CPU fan be necessary for this build? I have no plans for overclocking the CPU. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qx8kVn **CPU** | [AMD FX-4350 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd4350frhkbox) | $90.98 @ Newegg **Motherboard** | [MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+ Motherboard](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-970ag43) | $59.89 @ OutletPC **Memory** | [G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f31600c9d8gab) | $29.99 @ Newegg **Storage** | [seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st1000dm003) | $45.88 @ OutletPC **Video Card** | [MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx9602gd5toc) | $164.99 @ SuperBiiz **Case** | [Cougar MX300 ATX Mid Tower Case](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cougar-case-mx300) | $39.99 @ Directron **Power Supply** | [EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10600kr) | $45.98 @ Newegg **Optical Drive** | [Lite-On iHDS118-04 DVD/CD Drive](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/lite-on-optical-drive-ihds11804) | $12.89 @ OutletPC **Operating System** | [Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 OEM (64-bit)](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/microsoft-os-gfc02050) | $0.00 **Case Fan** | [Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP 69.0 CFM 120mm Fan](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-fan-r4l2r20acgp) | $5.95 @ OutletPC **Case Fan** | [Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP 69.0 CFM 120mm Fan](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-fan-r4l2r20acgp) | $5.95 @ OutletPC **Case Fan** | [Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP 69.0 CFM 120mm Fan](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-fan-r4l2r20acgp) | $5.95 @ OutletPC **Case Fan** | [Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP 69.0 CFM 120mm Fan](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-fan-r4l2r20acgp) | $5.95 @ OutletPC **Case Fan** | [Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP 69.0 CFM 120mm Fan](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-fan-r4l2r20acgp) | $5.95 @ OutletPC **Fan Controller** | [NZXT Sentry 2 Fan Controller](http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-fan-controller-sentry2) | $29.99 @ Newegg | Total (before mail-in rebates) | $585.33

  3. Hello, I have some questions about getting a E-GPU for my laptop. yuck I do not know much about computers so I do not want to waste $70 on something that does not work. I have a Dell Inspiron 3537 http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-15-3537/diagnose?ref=3275_previously&rvps=y I am planning to buy this for Christmas http://amzn.com/B00Q4VMLF6 Will this GPU adapter be compatible for my laptop? I've heard you have to remove the wifi adapter in order to connect this but thats not a problem. Is there a better solution instead of a E-GPU?
  4. Holy crap guys! I didnt think I would get so many helpful replies from people! Thank you all! Are there any specific tools that are needed to build my PC?
  5. Overclocking seems a bit complicated for me. If I didnt want to chose this, what cpu would you reccomend?
  6. Wow! Thanks, I didnt know that there was a thing for Windows 8.1.
  7. Hello, I am new to computer building and I need some assistance to build a computer. I have absolutely no experience in computer building but I really want to join this "PC master race" type deal with a low budget( like $500-600) I know that isn't a lot but I will upgrade in the future and I just need a starter PC. This is my plan: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/7achary/saved/dvqXsY Now to all of you intelligent computer beasts out there. What tools would I need for this build? I would love not to destroy a $900 CPU or break the motherboard in half . Please point out any possible problems in this build such as bottlenecks, incapabilty, etc. Thank you in advance.
