  1. Recloned and everything works now. Thanks for the help!
  2. I was able to clone the drive successfully and allocate all the space, but now my PC won't boot off the new SSD. I tried unplugging the SATA cable from my old SSD and changing the boot priority in my BIOS, but when I load in it says there are no drives containing an OS. Is there something I need to do in Windows to make it boot off it as well?
  3. So I'm cloning the old boot drive again, and here in macrium reflect it shows the extra space. What do I do to ensure that that space gets allocated in the drive?
  4. I'll try re-cloning the old drive. I think there was something I could do in that process to ensure it takes all the unallocated space, however if it turns out the same I'll try your method.
  5. I deleted the recovery partition but now the system won't boot off the new drive. Says that there is no OS on it. I think I'll probably just erase the new drive and try to clone it again, except this time to it right.
  6. I recently bought an M.2 1TB SSD. I already had a 512 GB SATA SSD where my Windows OS is located, so I had to clone it so I could make my new M.2 SSD my new boot drive. I did this successfully so now my system boots off the new SSD but I left some unallocated space in it that I cannot access. The disk management tab on Windows will not let me "extend" the drive to that space for some reason so I have no idea what to do. Is there any way I can fix this? Here's what my disk's management tab looks like. As you can see there's 454 GB of unallocated space so I basically cut my drive in half.
  7. How would I go about doing that? My PC does not boot into the OS at all. Also I can't do any of the repair or restore Windows options because apparently my Windows account was never administrator My only option seems to be resetting Windows all together. About to create a bootable drive for it now.
  8. Just upgraded my rig to an AMD 3700X. The build was working just fine until I updated some drivers using Driver Easy. I restarted and now the PC gets stuck on the Windows loading screen. If I restart sometimes a blue windows repair screen comes up which just makes me restart again, however, it says continue on to Windows 8.1 when I'm on Windows 10 (but upgraded from 8.1 a few months ago).
  9. Ever since I updated my driver to 416.34, my computer keeps on stuttering. Basically my screens will freeze for about 10 seconds and then come back for a couple seconds, and then freeze again. This will continue to happen for a while, but then my screens will seize up, black out, and then come back with a crash message at the bottom right saying, "Display Driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 416.34 stopped responding and has successfully recovered. After that crash message my computer works fine, but I literally can't use my PC until the driver crashes. Any idea on how to fix this?
  10. I still have the serial number, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to register the product and do the RMA online.

  12. I'm about to RMA my PSU and send it back to EVGA, but I already peeled the stickers off to make it look better. In doing this, did I void the warranty?
  13. Welp, it was working fine but when I got home from work and tried again to play a game, it rebooted again. Gonna make sure to do some more testing with the other PSU, but I'm pretty sure at this point I need to RMA my old PSU. Checked the RAM again and it's all secure.
  14. Yes hahaha. But I was also testing another PSU to see if that was the problem, so when the PC started having no problems I started blaming my old PSU. I did not think about the RAM at all. Feel kinda stupid, but I figured that a mem problem would provide some sort of error message. Edit: Also I had put in those new RAM dimms a couple months ago, so I didn't think they'd be having problems now.
  15. So recently, I had been having problems with my computer rebooting everytime I start gaming. Pretty much diagnosed it as every other part but the RAM lmao. First thought it was GPU, then when I tried my brother's GPU, it rebooted again, and I tested it on another friends rig and it worked fine. Then thought it was PSU, so I disambled my PC to test my friends PSU and make a make-shift testbench. Right then I noticed that some of the clips that hold 2 of my sticks of ram were undone. I took out all the RAM and reseated it just for OCD's sake, and dismissed this as not the problem. Once the new PSU test went successful, I was sure that it was the problem. But just incase, I decided to test my old PSU before I RMA it, and now it's working just fine!! I'm gonna keep testing my old PSU (AKA gaming) but my question is... could the RAM have been the problem to my computer rebooting all those times?
  16. Yeah, new motherboard would be an even bigger pain lmao. I'm gonna try RMAing the PSU and if that doesn't work then I guess it's a new mobo. Maybe I'll just make a whole upgrade of it and grab a ryzen combo haha.

  18. Just tested my brother's 750 Ti and unfortunately it rebooted again. So I guess it must be the power supply. Luckily, EVGA has a 10 year warranty on my PSU so I'm gonna RMA it, which might take a while but hopefully that will be the fix. Thanks for all the help everyone!

  20. No, it's not just Kombustor. It's whenever I put my GPU under stress. So it happens in pretty much all my games as well
  21. My Xeon is very power efficient. It's basically a locked i7 w/o internal graphics. 650 is definitely plenty. Also keep in mind I've had this PC for 3 years now and I've only started seeing this problem now
  22. I realize that lol. I just meant to put the PSU under more stress than with the GT 610, I could stress the 750 Ti and then stress the CPU as well to possibly further push the PSU. Kombustor Stress test won't even start with my GTX 950
  23. My PC has been rebooting whenever I put my GPU (GTX 950) under stress. It started happening when I was gaming and then whenever I start an MSI Kombustor test, it immediately reboots. I've tried stressing my old GPU (GT 610), and it went 10 full minutes in Kombustor no problem (Except for the terrible FPS lmao). I looked into this problem myself, and the possibility came up that it might be my PSU. It seems unlikely to me since I have plenty of space with my EVGA 650w Gold Certified PSU to handle my GTX 950, but I figured I'd try anyway since a PSU upgrade will be much cheaper than a new GPU. So I stress tested with both my GT 610 and CPU using Prime95 for 10 minutes. Still no reboot, so I'm pretty sure it's not the PSU (Although I could try to snag my brother's 750 Ti to try and put the PSU under more stress and test this further. LMK if I should try this) Other than that, I'm out of ideas. Do I need a new Graphics Card?? IF you have any other things for me to try, please feel free to reply, but tbh I wouldn't mind an upgrade.
