thanks dont really know much about command prompt

but i was wondering because my brother has a disc for windows 8.1 would it maybe be a different version of windows on that disc and then i could fix stuff from there

i downloaded the thing from the microsoft website, both 8.1 and 8 versions nad both of them said that the key wouldnt activate that version of windows

no i didnt

so basically i bought a version of windows to activate my current one for other reasons, but i bought this key from G2A and essentially i get a message saying that it wont activate this version of windows. Does that mean that it is just a dead key ? or does that mean that there is some other version of windows 8.1 that is specific for a 8.1 professional key ? it is a global CD key so it shouldnt be a case of the region any help is much appreciated

so yeah from the title if you can tell my mic which is the audiotechnica at2020 isnt working with the focusrite 2i2 even though i set it up from as far as i can tell correctly and there are no other power plugs, there is no way of turning the microphone on as far as i can see no drivers. There just isnt a thing that i can see that would result in it not working. So naturally i would go the the 2i2 but ive seen hardware canucks use it and i copied how he had it to make sure i hadnt screwed anything up and well even then it isnt working still

most of the time its just a case of the next button isnt an option when we select the ssd but it becomes an option when we use the HDD so yeah. The one time we got an error message it said something about it being an NTF partition i think.

basically my brother ha just gotten his new pc built but we got his ssd a bit early on black friday and well he asked me to test it so i partitioned it and everything and it worked, the problem is though that now the windows os wont install on the ssd as it says that it just cant, we have tried deleting the partition and reformatting it and doing pretty much everything is would let us do but to no avail we still cant get the os to install on the ssd, so im just wondering is there a way of getting the os to install on this ssd or is there osme way of installing the os on the HDD then re installing it on the SSD ?

Okay I pressed the meme ok button and now the same led is flashing and it's shutting down and rebooting my PC
