  1. Hello, I just implemented Geo Blocking in my Fortigate 100D. Is there a way to check if this is working properly? Thanks in advanced.
  2. Hello, We use a Dell Compellent in our company for a hyper-v platform. We ran in some storage issues because there wasn't looked into the volumes for a while and they weren't cleaned at all in the past year. After cleaning them up and removing some of the volumes that were not needed anymore we thought there would come some storage free but this isn't the case. Is there any solution or place where it is possible to reclaim storage from removed volumes? Thanks in advanced,
  3. It only needs to serve files. I did not think of solutions like FreeNAS or Unraid, I will take these in consideration and do some tests with them as well.
  4. Hello, I am testing some operating systems for a company file server. Now does it look like Cent OS and Ubuntu are the best choices to make for a file server but is this correct? What is your opinion on this and what would be your choice and why? We are talking about a file server of about 4TB. Thanks in advanced,
  5. Thanks I will take a look at ZOC.
  6. Yes I have tried this for a while but run into the host list of Putty. Also sometimes it is just easier to use a GUI to setup the SSH connection.
  7. I am switching to a MacBook and looking for a replacement for Putty on Mac. What is the best alternative and why? Thanks in advanced.
  8. It must be an issue on the device but i have never used Windows Back-up so I can't really help you with it. You can try a different back-up program maybe that will solve your issue and makes it possible to make back-ups automatically.
  9. Then it looks like a different issue on the machine itself. Have you also tried a different program for back-up if this gives the same results?
  10. That is really strange. Have you tried a different HDD does this give the same result?
  11. It looks like a configuration issue. Have you tried to setup the job from scratch?
  12. Can you do: show interface vlan 1 You need to run this on the switch, after you ran it can you share the output?
  13. Do you have a bit more information about your network setup? Do you have fiber, coaxial or ADSL? What kind of modem do you have?
  14. Have you tried updating the BIOS to the latest version?
  15. Insert a bootable device of the Windows version you are running. Try to fix the OS from there.
