  1. Hi, I own a Aopen Acer 32Hc1Q monitor which is a 1440p 144hz display. I have a gtx 1060 GPU. When I use DVI-D, it works properly but of course it only supports up to 75Hz at that resolution. So, I bought a DP cable but now it doesn't give me display. I somehow managed to get the display two days ago when I connected both, set the input from monitor menu to auto. Then I disabled the DVI connection from Nvidia control panel and the DP was working fine at 144Hz. But there is some kind of bug. It doesn't work everytime. I tried doing a lot of stuff but I don't know why my GPU or monitor can't get the display output from DP port even though I checked all the DP ports on my GPU.
  2. The problem is complicated. Both of my systems were working fine till yesterday. Today I got cpu led light continuously on. I have ryzen 1700x, gigabyte ax370 gaming 5 board and antec edge 650 watts psu. I did everything including removing cmos battery, booting with only single ram stick, and basic components and even reinstalling cpu with new thermal paste. Nothing works. When i use the power button it switches on but the power button doesnt work to switch it off. Suddenly my other system also showed the same thing but here the power button is able to switch it off. I am confused why this sudden behaviour today? When I tested voltage of eps connector, on one system it showed 12v but on the ryzen 1700x build it is 13v which I believe is really high. Is it possible that my mobo is fried or something? But then why the other system is suffering the same fate? Please help
  3. I have just started. So, I don't have enough idea.
  4. It means that I should not look at profit percentage but rather the local market prices. Hmm. It will take a lot of time but I think I have to do this.
  5. This might be a weird question but since I need some advice, I will post it. As I have become a reseller of computer parts from various manufacturers, I wanted to know how to price these components for the customers? Like how much percentage increase in the price? Currently, when I see prices on Amazon, I try to stay below their price but different components are priced on various percentages and the cost price changes every week or every month at least. If anyone is working or has worked in this field will be able to help me easily. I live in India and have an offline store recently open with the help of some people on this forum.
  6. Thanks for suggestions. In my area it is almost no competition but the need is there as there are no good computer shops at all. I have invested good money on peripherals but don't know how much should I on computer components and how much should I buy. Here high-end components aren't the demand but low to budget end components are mostly bought.
  7. I have a store that I am starting to sell computer parts and accessories. I have registered a company and started PC peripherals business. I also want to sell computer parts and build PCs for the customers. To run a successful shop, what parts, components I need to put in the shop from the start? How much should I invest at the first and what should I not do? Please give me some useful advice if anybody knows it.
  8. My motherboard is Gigabyte AX370 Gaming 5 and it has two LAN ports. One of them which is the Intel one is not working now. It is still showing in the device manager and says that the device is working properly but the LED light is not blinking after connecting an ethernet cable to it. I have tried uninstalling the driver but it isn't helping. Anyone know how to fix this?
  9. Do you want me to provide you a pic of motherboard layout or what?
  10. Don't know. Just checked. It's on balanced mode. I am running at 1080p, medium settings with 2x AA in heaven. I am getting like 10-15 fps
  11. I am running heaven benchmark and what I am seeing in the task manager is that CPU usage is very low like 1-5% only whereas GPU usage is easily going around 70%.
  12. I just recently built a computer for my friend. Specs are:- Ryzen 2400G MSI B3350M- PRO VDH 8GB kingston hyperx memory 2400Mhz and the problem is that I am getting very low performance from the processor. On medium settings I hardly get 40fps in rocket league and similar is the case in games like these. I have seen that people are getting way above 50 fps with very high quality settings and I am getting half of it on half the settings. I have tried to re-install AMD driver several times but it didn't help and I tried to increase the VRAM in Bios, but its locked there. Don't know whats wrong.
  13. No. I don't game a lot. I already have a good high-end rig for that but I just want it to be good in everything.
  14. I am from India. I have the budget max at 80K Inr. However, I don't have any particular requirements. I want a good laptop. That's it.

  16. Well I am not going to do anything myself. I will take it to a repairing shop. The thing I wanted to confirm is that if it can be repaired or not. Seems like it can be.
  17. The screw hole below those components. A screw was stuck inside the standoff of my case and I tried to remove it with a plier and this happened. Hmm. I will try that but my power supply is also not working. I have to send it for RMA.
  18. I know they are transistors with three ends: Gate, Source, Drain. Z170 pro gaming motherboard It maybe possible that I am mistaken. I will post photo now. Maybe they are something else. just check it what are these. Diodes or transistors?
  19. I have no knowledge on that. They are very small though.
  20. One out of two transistor is damaged however, the solder pads on motherboard are totally fine.
