  1. I started having this problem about a month ago when I tried booting and it says "Start windows" But the four dots that form in a window don't a appear. It then says loading windows files and starts doing system recovery. The only time this problem happens is when I turn my computer off for a couple of hours. I've tested it. I even tried turning my computer off for only 5 minutes and it boots fine. So i've found myself just leaving my computer on because that's the only way I can use this computer. And by the way when I restart my computer it loads fine. Spesc : i7 4790k 16GB Corsair Vengance 500GB Western Digital Blue from January 2013 Asus Z97-A GTX 970 Corsair Professional Series 860W PSU
  2. The i7 is the way to go. But if you're short on money the i5 is basically just as good. If you're going to do video editing the i7 is extremely good
  3. I currently have a asus z-97-a and on my old pc i have a msi z97 and I really like msi bios a lot better. There is a lot more options and than there is in the bios on my asus

  5. My current computer that I recently just built currently have 16gb of Corsair Vengeance. My previous computer had 8gb of Corsair Vengeance. They both have the same Mhz and are both DDR3. Can I add the 8gb to my my current 16gb to have 24gb? 8gb (in my old pc) : http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-240-Pin-Channel-CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9/dp/B004CRSM4I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1442055066&sr=8-3&keywords=2x4+gb+corsair 16gb (in my current pc) : http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Desktop-Memory-CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9/dp/B0085IWXB8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1442055212&sr=8-1&keywords=16+gb+corsair
  6. just went into safe mode with networking and installed a older driver and its still doing the same thing. It loads past the logo then brings me to my background with no taskbar or anything.
  7. How do I start in safemode? I heard you have to press F8 but thats a key to go into my bios. My motherboard is a asus z97-A
  8. Yes I installed my motherboard drivers, Lan Driver, usb 3.0 driver then I installed the graphics driver. But I never checked for a bios update.
  9. I just installed a fresh windows 7 onto my computer and every time I installed my graphics drivers for my gtx 970 theres always some sort of problem. The first time I installed the drivers and rebooted the windows 7 logo animation finished then my screen went black and I could still hear the windows welcome sound. After that I installed windows 7 again and this time installed the driver from the CD it came with. This time it got past the logo but I can only see the desktop background no taskbar, logos or anything. Also when I try to ctrl alt delete it just gives me a black screen. It never did this before and I have no idea what to do about it. The only thing I'm about doing is installing windows 10 to a usb drive and install it.t
  10. Booting up my computer this morning was an interesting process, because my computer wouldn't load windows...... It would get stuck at the windows welcome dialog and stay there for over ten minutes. And restarting my computer didn't fix anything nor did safe mode do anything. After my 4th restart this dialog box shows up = http://gyazo.com/2fe33fe72383cf290b82994a1033a52f I have no idea what this means. Virus?
  11. I'm currently looking at buying a i7 4790k, 16GB Corsair Vengeance, Corsair H60 Water Cooler, GTX 970, Corsair Professional Series 860W PSU, and a Corsair 450D Mid tower case. I need a good motherboard that's able to run all of these parts. Thanks in advance!
