  1. And as far as mobo's go, I tend to stick with ASUS, maybe Gigabyte. And I have had bad experiences with MSI.
  2. Again, there may be more cores, but it's 700 mhz slower. Lookin for 4g+
  3. Switched on pc partpicker, no available cpu at 4x4ghx+
  4. Oh ya-goin to school for gunsmithing so will be doing some light cad work. Forgot to mention that.
  5. What benefit would there be (gaming or cad)? How much are we talking?
  6. I have a couple hundred more to spare on this build if yall got suggestions, but I'd rather spend it on peripherals. Any changes you might suggest? No AMD suggestions please. 7. This whole time, I've been saying larger and heavier is preferred. The main reason I'm going with asus and only asus is the fact that the charging port is on the side; the only other large laptop with good cooling would be alienware.
  8. worse is a matter of perspective lol. Flashier laptops tend to have better cooling because they're larger machines.
  9. I'm not really looking for a barebones laptop anyway lol. I like flashy shit. I love that feeling when I take a laptop or desktop component out of the box and just about cream my pants. While I was serving I had to have something portable. Good luck hauling a full tower overseas. Now, well its for when I travel in addition to my desktop. Except for the most important one (in my book anyway) That youtube video, though. I lolled so hard.
