  1. I've just checked the prices , and the 1080 is around $70 more expensive than the 1070( the Inno3D iChill X3 version at least), I might find a way to fit it in the budget though. The nasty part is that the GTX 1080 is 700 dollars here, which is rather difficult to fit into an 1800 USD build. Also , about the RAM , the only 3200 16Gb kits of RAM that they have in stock , run at 16 CL. I can't find the RAM you suggested.(I went for the one suggested by Fardin though).
  2. All right , thank you a lot for your answers , they helped me greatly , have a good one.
  3. Thank you for the link, it will help me now(and most likely in the future). Also , the site he's going to buy from , started a promotion, if you buy a Mobo, GPU and CPU , you get a free SSD. As weird as it sounds , they're giving away the SSD I mentioned in the original post(Intel 540s Series 240GB SATA-III M.2 2280). Do you think it's worth scrapping the Samsung Evo so I can get a build close to the one you suggested and a 1440p/144 Hz monitor, without breaking the budget?
  4. Yeah , I will try my best to find the best parts that can fit in the build without breaking the budget. And thank you for the PSU recommendations ,I've always had a hard time finding a fitting PSU. I told my friend about the image quality difference between IPS and TN , and he told me he'd rather have TN and 144hz than IPS and a better image. So , I guess I will try to tweak the build in such a way that I will be able to incorporate a 144hz monitor. I don't think the 1070 will be a problem at 1440p/144Fps , right?(I am sure he'll lower the settings if needed).
  5. Unfortunately the HDD is out of stock, and the Asus version of the GPU(the one you suggested) , is $120 more than the Zotac AMP! version. I couldn't find the PSU either , and the build is 200 dollars over the budget limit. The prices are ridiculous, the monitor is $400 here.(The build would work ,but I'd have to go for a cheaper monitor, I am currently sitting at around $2100 with the build you suggested). Edit: Never mind , I found the PSU , under a different name.
  6. Thank you for that, I genuinely didn't know that the frequency mattered so much for Ryzen CPUs(I will replace the RAM with a 3200Mhz Dual Channel Kit , which is only $5 more).
  7. Yeah , I didn't really take Ryzen into consideration(Which was quite foolish of me). I agree about the PSU though. Well , the 6GB variant of the 1060 is $25 cheaper than the 580.
  8. Hello , my friend is planning on buying a new PC , his budget is around 1800 USD(But , considering the somewhat ridiculous prices in my country , I'd say around 1300-1400 USD). I've come up with a build, but I'd like the opinions of people who are more knowledgeable than I am, so I decided to post here. The PC will be used primarily for gaming. Here's the build: HDD:Western Digital Red 2TB Monitor: LED AOC Gaming AG241QX CPU: Intel Kaby Lake, Core i7 7700 Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-B250M-D3H Case: Zalman Z9 Neo black GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 580 NITRO+ 4GB DDR5 256-bit(Unfortunately, my choices were rather limited, most websites in my country suffer from a severe lack of GPUs) PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3, 80+ Gold, 650W SSD: Intel 540s Series 240GB SATA-III M.2 2280 RAM :Patriot Viper Elite Gray 16GB DDR4 2133MHz CL14 I know the GPU is not strong enough to handle 1440p/144Hz at max settings, which is why I theorized going for 1440P/60Hz, or cut the price of some components and get a GTX 1070. Thank you.
  9. Is Club 3D a good manufacturer or should I go for MSI/Sapphire?
  10. Well then I might be able to fit an R9 380 + i5 4460 , Would a Seasonic S12II 520 W be enough ?
  11. Unfortunately can't find a 280X in my country , and the ones that are out there are as expensive as the 290. It's a little bit more expensive + needs a better PSU. But I might be able to fit it.
  12. Hello , I am helping someone with a 1080p gaming build. His budget is not very big so all I could get was an I3 4170 and an R9 290. He thinks that the i3 is way too weak for gaming and that he would like and i5 . If he gets the i5 he would have to get a GTX 960 4gb instead of an R9 290 , so which one do you think is the better choice for gaming ?
  13. Was just asking , anyways that PSU is more expensive than the Seasonic S12II ... Thank you all. I will tell him to go for the Seasonic , have a good evening.
  14. I see you have a Coolermaster 600B , would that be good enough for a R9 390 ?
  15. Can't find XFX , but what about Seasonic S12II 620 W?
