nope, out of warranty. It's well out of warranty. I mean it's a skylake CPU. It'll just have to hold up for a couple of years or so. I can always upgrade to a better one after a year of use. I've been using the thing for about 3 years already...

I was an absolute idiot and I misaligned the cpu with the motherboard socket. I even saw a tiny crack in the bend. But, I bent it back, and magically the computer boots! Does it mean i'm good?

Are mythlogic rigs good? I would buy it if it's good. But pascal is more expensive compared to maxwell. I wonder what will the mythlogic deimos will cost if I make it pascal. Also, where can i buy clevo upgrades?

i read the mythlogic sites and some reviews, but they had some bios issues and the site... i'll be honest. it looks shady as hell. Origin PC looks like my only viable option... what do you think? 980 (Desktop grade) and desktop i5 for 15000 hkd (or around 1950 usd) or what about acer predator 15? its around 350 dollars cheaper, but the cpu is a 6700hq and everything is soldered onto the motherboard. are origin laptops upgradeable?

I was about to hit "fuck it" and get a razer blade (yes literally 2 minutes ago), but i thought I should wait and see what happens and check out what you guys are talking about before making the mistake. So @D2ultima should I consider clevo? And where can i buy them online? because i can't really buy them in real life. They don't really sell those in stores... And currently what i'm looking for is a desktop grade CPU, 1060, and the price should be under $2000. I'll wait and see what happens on 16th August! Just asking, is MSI a good brand that sells good stuff but is simply overpriced?

so... which brand(s) should i consider? reviews said msi and razer (or any overpriced brands) its good and "worth the price". do you think they are paid to say this? i can't believe they said razer blade use a "Beefy" cpu (according to cnet) while you guys said it is a sucky cpu. i found some benchmarks online. comparing to other ultrabooks its good, but compared to the 6700hq its bad. lets not compare it with the desktop cpus. that's just unfair. but seriously. are they paid to do this?

yes i've read that when you first sent it. but the akitio one isn't really designed for gpus. all those laptops are too expensive!

you mean those MSI ones? msi said they will be out next week. but i'm guessing its super expensive. but do you think i should wait for cheaper egpu solutions or get an upgradeable laptoP?

yeah. that's a good idea. although, do you know any quad core rigs with thunderbolt? i need them to be as flashy as possible.
