  1. Knowing me, I'll completely ruin them after taking them out for a week. I'd rather not do that.
  2. Hi all! So essentially, although I have the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x at home, I'm interested in buying a pair of headphones for $50 (or less) that I can use outdoors or for travel, preferably if they were over-ear. I'm open to all suggestions, as long as the headphones actually look good when you're wearing them, and that they, obviously, sound good (I'd rather not have over-powering bass, but I don't mind bass all that much). I need them to look good when I'm wearing them since I'll be taking this pair outdoors, and I don't want them to be some massive, bulky, weird looking cans. So far, all I've found are the m20x, which aren't bad, but I'm not sure about their aesthetics. I could use some more suggestions. Thanks in advance!
  3. I recently moved states, and had to travel distance I couldn't drive. So I decided that before I let the movers pack my PC, I would take out my GPU (GTX 1080) for the journey. After setting up my PC at my new house, I reinstalled the GPU and all of a sudden the performance in many games reduced a lot. I double checked the graphics settings in all the games I tested, and they were the same. Any solutions? For example, Just Cause 3 ran solidly capped at 60fps maxed out, and all of a sudden it struggled to keep 45 frames. Similarly, CS: GO went from 200fps to about 50-60, and Guild Wars 2 from capped at 60 to hovering in the 30s. Any ideas for a fix? The temps seem normal, and the same as before. Solutions? Build: Case: Noctis 450 OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: i5 4690k OC'd @ 4GHz GPU: MSI GTX 1080 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB DDR3 1600 PSU: Cooler Master G650M (Air cooled - I cant trust myself with water cooling!) Thanks!
  4. Heh, odd thing is, these are the Logitech G430s. I wouldn't consider them shit! It seems to work at the moment, and I'm guessing I'll have to do that once in a while just like you do. Thanks!
  5. Definitely not on backwards, they have the R/L on the earcups. I've found a few others with this issue, but no clear fix.
  6. So I recently bought this new pair of headphones, and the audio channels are swapped. Basically, sounds that SHOULD be coming out of the right ear are coming out of the left ear, and vice versa. I really don't want to open up and swap the wires in the headphones, but since I've read that you can switch the front panel audio jack's wiring on the motherboard to reverse the outputs, I was wondering if that's a legitimate possibility. I'm not feeling too well today so apologies if this post didn't make much sense. Thanks in advance!
  7. PSUs aren't all that expensive in comparison to some other components. Go for a trustworthy brand this time!
  8. Did the drivers work? I had the same issue, and updating drivers worked perfect for me.
  9. At the same time, PC has way more exclusives that console. I have a PS4 and a gaming rig, so I'm not tryin to be bias or anything.
  10. Thanks for the extra information. I'll take a look at the guide!
  11. Hi everyone, So there's an option in the ASRock Z97 UEFI which is called "Load Optimized CPU OC Setting", which I'm assuming is a automatic overclock. I have an i5 4690K, and a Hyper 212X CPU cooler. I'm planning on getting to 4.4GHz on the CPU, but I'm okay with anywhere from 4.0 - 4.4GHz. I was wondering if using the "automatic" OC was safe? Or should I be doing OCing manually? I haven't ever OC'd myself, but I've done my research on it. Thanks!
  12. I think it's all good, since the store did run some tests and say it was unusually hot. I had completely forgotten about the deal I got when I got the card, which said I can get a replacement for the first month of a malfunctioning part. I'm getting the part delivered tomorrow! Thanks for all the help, everyone!
  13. Nope. I took all of them out, besides the 2 at the top for my ssd and hdd.
