I'm using HyperX 1866 1x 8GB and two 4GB the 8GB is the problem.

Tried all the slots, same response.

My rig at the moment has my friends r7 260x. I want to upgrade to Polaris, so I can give my friends GPU back. Without him, I wouldn't be able to build my cheap q6600 PC.

I have windows 10 should I just use my other GPU, but can my psu power both cards?

I just got a GTX 660 for free and the Fan Twitches once and doesn't run when PC boots. Only a blank screen. I cleaned the part and put new paste. I'm using a EVGA 500w the only PSU I have.

I saw that video earlier today. Really great. I know someone I that will let me borrow their equipment. It is only about $2.75 for the 4 capacitors. Found an extra one by the cpu. I would change that one so my overclock doesn't make it pop. After thinking it, I think the backplate would work with any water cooler so I'll just buy one.

Yeah I found some capacitors from Chemi-con and they are cheap. Also the guy who sold me the board wanted me to pay him more but I told him no because of the backplate and capacitors. I'll keep mouser in mind its a good site for capacitors. For now I will try to remove the backplate.

Where would I shop for a good Capacitor?

I don't want to damage the board.

1. I just bought a Asus P5b Deluxe motherboard and has 3 bulged capacitors. Should I have them replaced or leave them be. The motherboard does work. 2. The Board has a backplate glued on and doesn't allow my Arctic Pro 7 to fit in the mounting holes. What water cooler does it belong to? Can I just use any water cooler with this plate.

So this guide is very detailed, I will try it. Does it work well with air coolers?
