  1. Hello everyone, So I played GTA V since it was released on PC and I realized my old Computer will not run this game as smooth as I wanted it to be. So I upgraded my old one into this one: CPU Intel i7 4790K Motherboard - Asus ROG Ranger VII RAM - 16GB G.Skill 1.333mhz GPU - ASUS GTX 970 Strix Case - CMStorm Scout 2 Advanced Storage - 120 GB SSD Kingston / 1TB 3,5" WD PSU - EVGA W750 SuperNOVA G2 Cooling - Box Cooler Sound - Onboard Operating System - Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit I have seen a lot of People playing in Ultra res. and everything maxed out in 1920x1080 without any Problems and usually with 60 FPS. If I try this I get 30 FPS Max. and sometimes around 14 FPS I do not know what the Problem is. ASUS GPU Tweak is telling me that my GPU is running at 99% but I can not really believe this.. Please help me. I am Looking Forward Hearing any suggestions.

  3. I got the older ones where they used the Toshiba Toggle-NAND and not the ones they are now using.. It runs solid but I would change it into something bitter when I got some more bucks in my pocket ^^ are those PSUs quiet as well? the one Im using currently is like freaking loud and makes some squeaking noises so that one has to go as fast as possible.
  4. Hello Everyone First of all here are my Specs I want to build into my new Computer http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/HQs6dC CPUi7 4790K MotherboardAsus Rog VII Ranger RAM2x 8GB G.Skill 1.333mhz GPUAsus GTX 970 Strix CaseCMStorm Scout 2 Advanced Storage120 GB SSD Kingston / 1TB 3,5" WD PSUTechsolo TP-600W Display(s)2 Acer 24" LED Full HD CoolingARCTIC Freezer 13 KeyboardLogitech G710+ MouseLogitech G500s SoundOnboard Operating SystemWindows 7 Home Premium 64Bit I choose the i7 4790K over an i5 4690K because I want to record games and stuff like this so this was a better choice from my point of view. The Motherboard was a tough decision. In another Thread the MSI Gaming 5 was a favorite but I really want an optical audio port so thats why I placed the RoG Ranger over the MSI one. The Asus Strix GTX 970 was from the beginning my absolute favorite. I love the 0DB feature. So thats why I choose this one over the other brands. So my last problem is, I have no idea what PSU I should take with this set up Right now I have a Techsolo TP-600 (I cant find a decent link where you can buy this one) Partpicker told me I need around 400W so I dont want to take one thats way too Overkill even though they were recommended in my other threads. Recommended PSU was https://de.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr http://de.pcpartpicker.com/part/super-flower-power-supply-sf850f14mg But aren't they a bit too much? I mean if they are really that great and compatible with my build I would buy these but I dont want to spend that much money if I dont need it. I would love to have a PSU as quiet as possible just like my GTX 970 if that is possible
  5. http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/gPDBJx I think this is a decent build isnt it? There are parts i already bought / owned included so this build would cost me around 1k in total
  6. Ignore this as well <.< where is this freakin delete button?
  7. Thank you all! I really appreciate it. First of all I should have added that Im going to keep my Storage and my Case. So everything I need are the things listed below. What confuses me the most in terms of motherboard is, what are the main differences? Is the only difference in some BIOS features and the look? and how should I know how much Watt I need?
  8. Hallo everybody, First of all im sorry for all my mispells and mistakes, english isn't my mothertongue. Actually Im German. I already mentioned it another thread that I was thinking about upgrading my old amd set up into a new Intel one. This thread helped me already a lot but there are still some questions I have when it comes to some peripherals. So my main use for a Computer is probably Gaming. I mainly play League of Legends, Payday 2 and future games like GTA V. I also want to record my LoL games for practice and I want to do streaming with this new machine. The new Computer should run GTA V and The Witcher 3 in at least High, better Ultra Settings. (If this is possible for the pricing) so this are my specs: CPUAMD FX 8320 MotherboardMSI 970A-G43 RAM1x 8GB G.Skill 1.333 GPUAMD Radeon R7850 Core Edition CaseCMStorm Scout 2 Advanced Storage120 GB SSD Kingston / 1TB 3,5" WD PSUATX TP-600W Display(s)2 Acer 24" LED Full HD CoolingARCTIC Freezer 13 KeyboardLogitech G710+ MouseLogitech G500s SoundOnboard Operating SystemWindows 7 Home Premium 64Bit My Budet is about 1.000€ - 1100$ but Im happy when I dont have to spend everything so Price per Performance is an important part for me. It can go above 1.000€ - 1100$ if it is worth it. I already made a list of Hardware I considerd: CPUIntel i7 4790K ~ 330€ - 357$ Intel i5 4690K ~ 250€ - 271$ MotherboardMSI Z97 Gaming 3 ~ 125€ - 135$ MSI Z97 Gaming 5 ~ 146€ - 158$ MSI Z97 Gaming 7 ~ 180€ - 195$ ASUS Z97 RoG VII Ranger ~ 160€ - 174$ ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer ~ 131€ - 142$ ASRock Z97 Fatal1ty Killer ~ 140€ - 152$ RAMCorsair Vengance 2x 8gb 1600mhz ~ 123€ - 133$ Corsair Vengance Pro 2x 8gb 1833mhz ~ 137€ - 149$ Hyper X Beast 2x 8gb 2400mhz ~ 145€ - 157$ G.Skill 1x 8gb 1333mhz ~ 70€ - 76$ (I already have 1 so I only need 1) GPUASUS GTX 970 Strix ~ 355€ - 384$ MSI GTX 970 Gaming ~ 370€ - 401$ Zotac ZT-90101-10P GTX 970 ~ 330€ - 357$ PSUCorsair CX 600W ~ 63€ - 68$ Corsair CX 750W ~ 95€ - 103$ Corsair RM 650W ~ 105€ - 114$ BeQuiet CM BQT L8 630W ~ 82€ - 89$ BeQuiet CM BQT L8 730W ~ 94€ - 102$ CoolingCorsair H100i ~ 106€ - 115$ Corsair H110 ~ 121€ - 131$ So yeah there is a lot of things I just dont know and thats why I dont know what I exactly need or what is good for this price. I also dont know how much of power I need to run the System I choose. And which of those are the most quiet ones? Which Processor is better for its price for only gaming, recording and streaming purposes? Are those mainboards worth its price or can I go with a cheaper one? If not which one do you recommend? Is Luquid cooling worth it? Or can I still go with an Air cooling concept? As you probably recognized by now: Im fairly new to this whole thing to build a Computer by my own. TLDR: I Want the best Price-per-performance set up, as quiet as possible I hope you guys can save me
  9. Wow I didnt expect that many answeres in that period of time so I try to answere everything So Im living at Germany so not everything is available at the same price here Im probalby buying the Stuff at Amazon. My Budget is around 1.200€ but I would like to get the most out of my money and I wont be mad if there is something left from the budget in the end I super failed at my PSU cause I dont even have a beQuiet.. instead I have an ATX Power Supply with 600W So ok I should change my Motherboard no matter what I wanna do So I think its better to go with an Intel processor and an Intel compatible Motherboard What Motherboard should I concider especially if I want to Overclock at some point? In Germany the Intel i7 4790K costs about 390€ and the Intel i5 4690K around 250€ are they both able to do handle the GTX 970 or does the i5 have clear weaknesses depending what i wanna do? Edit: I dont need to overclock if the processor is good enough it was just an idea wich came to my mind
  10. Hello everyone, Im very new to building my own Computer and especially overclocking but Im willing learning and reading all the necessary stuffs i need to know. First of all here are my current Computer specs: CPUAMD FX 8320 MotherboardMSI 970A-G43 RAM8GB G.Skill GPUAMD Radeon R7850 Core Edition CaseCMStorm Scout 2 Advanced Storage120 GB SSD Kingston / 1TB 3,5" PSUbe quiet! BQT E9 Straight Power Display(s)2 Acer 24" LED CoolingARCTIC Freezer 13 KeyboardLogitech G710+ MouseLogitech G500s SoundOnboard Operating SystemWindows 7 Home Premium 64Bit So the main things I do with my Computer is playing Video games and I was thinking about upgrading it for GTA V and The Witcher 3. I want to play this games on Ultra Settings or at least on High Settings. Another game I usually play i League of Legends where i want to record my games for practice purposes and sometimes I even stream. So this should be the things I want to do with the Computer and right now it's not working as I want to. The thought about upgrading my GPU into an Asus GTX 970 Strix Upgrading my RAM into 16gb The thing Im most concerned about is my CPU Is it enough to Overclock it? If it is enough should I buy a new cooling system like H100i from Corsair? or should I maybe upgrade it into an Intel i7 4790K? Or are there any other processors worth buying? Wich motherboard should I take with the Intel processor? Im looking forward hearing your opinions.
