  1. I am having trouble finding a solid low input lag TV that has a great response time under $500 and is 40in or bigger. The only one I have considered is the Vizio D40u-D1, is there anything better? 4k is not a priority for me Any suggestions? and no i dont want anything smaller than 40in since this is going in my living room as a multi entertainment center
  2. when i wipe the drive does that clear the partitians? also is the system reserve something I should copy from the 1TB as well?
  3. I used Macrium Reflect Disk Imaging and Backup to make my new 4TB HDD my main drive , when I cloned the 1TB drive to the 4TB drive, it made my 4 TB drive have 4 partitians (1.6 TB Im not even able to allocate for use!) and I just want 1 partitian so that I can use the whole 4TBs. How do I do this??? and how should I clear my 4TB so that it is just one partitian again?
  4. I bought a pc in 2014 that is just flat out not up to my standards anymore (amd cpu fx- 4130 and gtx 960). I want to sell it on craigslist or ebay but I've never sold a PC so I don't know what steps I need to do before I sell? Specifically, what is the best way to wipe the the HDD so that it is 100% clear for the new user? If it matters I'm using windows 10 that was upgraded form windows 8.1
  5. I got my fiance shield k1 for valentines (shhhhhh!), however I want to get her a micro SD that will work well as the internal source (thank you marshmellow update!). What are some good options for me for at least 64 gb and high read speeds? Price would prefer to be under $60. She will be gaming on this tablet (so will I hehehe)
  6. wow i like that price! i dont know much about adata usa, is that a reputable company?
  7. does the evo have a reputation of durability much higher than other SSDs?
  8. as i mentioned, I live in the US, so USD
  9. Hey guys, I live in the US and am looking for reliable SSD that has a good price to performance ratio. I game and use photoshop from time to time. And I am getting the 500GB because I want to put my OS windows 10 on it. I usually like to shop from amazon or newegg I'd perfer not to spend over 150 Any suggestions? Thanks!
  10. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236453 This monitor is on sale for 274.99, I like the pixel density of a 25 inch 2k monitor. Is there something else that is comparable at this price (or close to) that I should consider? Keep in mind I am in grad school and MOST of my time is reading articles and studying lectures, however I do love to play CS:GO and other shooter games (borderlands 2 all time fav!) in my free time. Things i like -IPS -2k -great price for a student budget -would suite my needs for a long time Cons -people say there is backlight issues (but isnt that most IPS monitors? lol) -5ms response -wish it was glossy finish for that eye candy viewing Thanks for your help/thoughts!
  11. cool, ya I get what you are saying, thanks for your input. I am on the look out for a graphic design/gaming monitor for my brother and I am trying to differentiate between what is a "need" and what is a "luxury" for him since there are so many options out there right now
  12. so i guess i don't understand viewing angles, I thought that those only mattered if you are looking at the monitor from the side or if you are looking up at the monitor. If you are directly in front of the monitor with it level with your eyes, why would the viewing angle be a problem with a TN panel?
  13. I know IPS has better viewing angles and supposedly better color reproduction but is there really any noticeable difference if both are the same pix density?
  14. how much more performance can u get with the unlocked 4790k if you just got a coolermaster hyper 212 and overclocked it
