Hello everyone, i am interested in getting into the linux distrobutions but i dont want to lose windows, i have already tried VM but it is very slow. i give it nearly 7 GB of ram, 500MB of graphical memory, and i even give it both of my cores but it still runs very slow, not to mention i also stumble apon ALOT of resolution issues and i have the resolution the size of a phone, so i would rather dual boot linux without having windows running in the backround. I would also like to mention i am not familiar with bootloaders in any way and i don't know how to install them.

Hello guys, i'm new to this fourm and i was wondering if it would be possible that i could use the radeon hd 5450 on my rig without having my power supply blow up, you might chuckle to this question but i'm really edgy on getting this card without a PSU upgrade, i was just seeing if i could save the money from a new PSU, and i know this is a very low end rig but i want something that can atleast run modern games on low. Current specs Dell Inpiron 570 CPU: AMD athlon x2 250 @ 3.00 Ghz RAM: 8 Gigs (Upgraded from 4 gigs originally) And i have two hard drives, one with 500 GB and one with 80 GB.
