  1. Nope, the 1440p monitor is using Displayport, the 1080p one is using HDMI atm.
  2. Really? I havn't had any issues until i introduced 1440p to the mix, everything else has been just fine. I bought the card off of amazon, should i contact Gigabyte about an RMA?
  3. But I never had any issues with the PSU on the 1080p monitor, and 1080p on the 1440p monitor doesnt work well either. What kind of issues is the Gigabyte 390 known for? Should I try to RMA it?

I didn't expect to be maxing out every new game at 1440p, but even on games like rocket league I get 20-30 FPS with AA off. I've looked up videos of R9 380s doing better then that. My driver packaging version is 15.30.1025, but even before I updated them (was on like 15.15 I think) I still had this problem. I currently have a dual monitor setup (second monitor is in part list) and I had no issues running games in 1080p on that monitor, performance was as expected. However, in Rocket League, downscaling the 1440p monitor to 1080p saw almost no increase in performance, which does not seem right at all. Any help you guys can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Hey guys, I'm looking at upgrading my monitor setup and I think 27 inches is the way to go. My budget is 250 max so I understand that probably limits me to 1080p. I've read some things about 27 inch 1080p looking really fuzzy compared to 1440p, is it really that bad? I've been looking at the BenQ RL2755HM, is that a good TN panel for the price? I mostly use my PC for gaming so that's why I leaned towards the BenQ. If there is a better one out there please let me know, thanks!
  6. Would I be better off buying a used 780 Ti for 285 or just paying 329 for a new 390? Will the 780s 3GB of VRAM be enough for the next few years?
  7. Thanks for all the help guys! I've never heard of PNY before though, are they a reputable GPU manufacturer?
  8. Hey guys, I have an opportunity to pick up a used 780 ti for $250. Is this still worth it? I know the 780 Ti has really great performance when compared to the current series cards, but what about driver updates and the like? Will that make things not run as well?
  9. Awesome will do, thanks!
  10. Thanks for the list! Do you know much about the Cougar Spike? It seems like decent case for the price.
  11. This is a cool case and is the type of thing I'm looking for, but it's a bit expensive for this build. That's my fault I should have specified, I'm really looking to spend 50ish on the case max.
  12. Thanks guys!
  13. Oh ok I see. I'm not too interested in overclocking really, I'm just looking for something that will have good multi tasking without sacrificing too much gaming performance. Will do! 8GB supports dual channel as well right?
  14. Oh cool, would 16GB be enough? Or should I splurge for 2 8GB sticks instead so I can upgrade to 32GB later?
