Leave the benchmarks and test both in real time operations . like gaming for 3 hours and rendering videos , overclock-ability , stability , temperatures ,power consumption, upgrade-ability AMD is actually lying about Core. they split one core into 2 and said 8 cores where i5 have 4 actual cores thats why when it comes to real life operations AMD falls .

hi i've just bought a notbook (HP Elitebook 8470p) 3 days ago . since i'm not gaming for longer times now coz of business and all i'm using my book for almost everything else except gaming .its on for 12+ hours a day on DC power mostly and on battery when i'm on mobile. battery is always inside even if its 100% charged. its like 7 hours on DC and 5+ on battery everyday . is it ok to use it like this and if not what are the effects on battery or the book it self . all help will be appreciated Thanks .

4.5 ghz below 1.3v and below 70C temps . you will have 5-7 years . of perfect working (normally CPUs start downclocking after 2 years of 24/7 overclocks but then you only need few more drops of 0.0xxx volts to make it running on that speed .

D.C cpus on Z97 are mad dogs in voltage (underload) regard . i don't know what is wrong with it , is it bios or cpu code it self but you have to set voltage manually if you want low temps and CPU will work fine too but on stock (Auto) voltage your CPU will easily hit 1.3+ voltage under load on stock .D-14 is an awesome cooler by the way. don't run on stock ( auto voltage). 72c underload on 4.6 at 1.22V is normal .

i was running mine at 4.6ghz on 1.17v. its absolutly possible .coz i don't need overclock so i did downclocked it . and now its on stock but 1.13v.

Hi i have facing a problem for last few weeks and i was not able to find what is actually wrong . Problme: whenever i leave my rig idle for more then 5 mints GPU started using its 90%-99% power and reached 63C tops every time. i was finding the programe causing this problem and finally i got it ...(if you are having the same problem read carefully) Its the programe/process named " mdm * 32" in your task manager. end it and your GPU will stop working like a made dog . when consulte google about the programe i found this http://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/330e12/mdm_32bit_what_is_it_and_why/ Plz read blog on link. if we consider the information on this blog correct then Amd is deceiving every single customer who is using new AMD driver package for his/her GPU. coz as i think its works like a cluster the biggest secretly made cluster of the history for bitcoin mineing ...most of the people using new amd gpus are using atleast 3r/4th gen i5/i7 or Amd Fx 8xxx CPUs so you can imagine how fast and big cluster they can make virtually on the planet .(if you don't know how computer networks work then don't bullshit here) it is possible . if you search there is no other folder containing MDM files but the Amd folders and why the F*** its cacheing all the information where is it going ? to TITAN for farther processing i guess .
