ok so I've been looking around reviews and stuff and im thinking of a few headphones and a headset :

1- DT770 pro but cant find a good deal for the 80 ohms and im only buying from amazon

2- MMX 300 

3- HD8 DJ because Linus said they were good and now they are for 250$ (why are they bad?)

the vmoda m100 is very good and i know that but i fear that he wont like it because its on ear .

was thinking of the HD600 too .

so what do you guys think of getting him

i know 400 $ might be too much for him  

I usually recommend the ATH-M50x with modmic as they make fantastic headphones for listening to music while studying in a noisy library and are immersive for gaming. I love mine so much

he actually tried my m50's and didnt like them :< 

A headset got the benefit of integrated mic, so less devices to deal with. On the other side, headphones generally have better audio quality compared to headsets. So it's up to you.

 

Personally I'd get him a good headphone, and skip the mic. He will then have the freedom to choose what mic he want (desktop, boom, lapel, etc)

which headphones would you recommend ? and lets say that i would get him a headset are there any good in the market ? 

Hi , my bro is going to medical school thus me and my family want to get him a gift, so i thought we should get him a pair of headphones or a headset , he plays on pc uses a shitty playsation headset . 

the budget is around 400$ and im wondering if i should get him a headset or a headphone with a mod mic and what would be a good choice . 

any suggestions ?

If you can get it from your box in the US easily then just have it ship there and then to you home. If you can't, I'm pretty sure NCIX Canada ships internationally.

I decided to buy a tkl ducky shine 3 with brown switches and purple backlit , the problem is that i live in Saudi Arabia (middle east) and the only site i can find this keyboard is ncix.com

I've heard people say that Keycool isn't too bad but I have never seen / used one in my life, however I do have a Ducky Shine III TKL and if you like the simple look of it then you will love it. The quality is outstanding and you can tell that it is a premium product... at least I can.

 

EDIT: I have mine in MX Browns and they are awesome to type and game on

hmm ... i dont know if it is worth the extra 30 dollars , if this one is no good i might think of the ducky shine 3

i found this keyboard so is it good compared to brands like filco or ducky ?

get a good headphone first with a mod mic if you need one , and dont get a sound card get a usb dac instead like the fiio e10

i havent tried both but i think you can afford a good headphone with a mod-mic which is way better than this "gaming headset"

ive built my pc 2 months ago and it was fine nice temps underload and every thing was alright but 2 days ago i was playing a game and the pc freeze i rseted the pc and checkd the temps i got 95-100c with 3.6% cpu usage !!!

i turned it off and turn it again after 1 hour and the temps went back same thing happend yesterday too so i turned of oc gene but today it comes rapidly and so im here 

specs :

cpu ; i7-4770k 

cpu cooler : swiftech h220 with Corsair  sp120 on full speed 

mobo : msi z87-gd65 bios virsion : V1.1 4/26/2013

is it going to make different if it was ips ? 

so i heard that the 120hz ips (korean ones that overclock to 120 hz) skip the frames is that right and how does it happen ?
