  1. Finish your project, and share "YOUR" project. Even if you give Peter credit for being your inspiration, what were you inspired to do? You have copied his desk, that doesn't show the creativity that you express you wanted to share with us. Also the name needs to change, Peter Brands built the "Razer Desk" it is clear you know this, and it is clear that he was your inspiration, you say so yourself. So make some changes and make the desk your own. Peter's desk is awesome, and very inspiring, but it has been done, and I am sure being that you have the skill to get this far, you can create something original.
  2. One final preview for now, back soon with more! https://youtu.be/wTBeIjOm7YQ
  3. Lighting from BSMODS hmmm what could these be for? FLUX Capacitor! Rear ventilation system: Step 1: Step 2: Almost ready for mounting! Using the original front of the case from the HAF 922, after giving it the "stainless" treatment to fit the mod. Tribute to Cooler Master for hosting this competition and allowing us to have the opportunity to compete!
  4. Now we start to see the chassis taking shape: Much more work to do! Cutting some more panels: Back panel made and mounted: Hood made and mounted: Doors moutned, needs adjustment no worries:
  5. Some more shots: Moving on to the Thermaltake DPS power supply, giving it the "stainless" treatment to match the theme: First steel wool to remove the gold paint from the aluminum grill, then to polishing: Shiney Now we hand painted using brushed to achieve the stainless look, using a bright silver, and black blended: Final:
  6. Starting to take some shape: More components incoming: Now that I had a good idea of the layout, time to make the final frame work: Measure cut, measure cut: New bottom frame, framework for the chassis support complete, and chassis painted, wheels mounted:
  7. Initial layout for motherboard, and radiator, that changed: First panels being tested in place from final cut pieces: All pieces were cut by hand using hand and electric power tools as seen below: Bent using a 30" hand brake:
  8. The hardware! http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b51/marcam923/IMAG2988_zps8ycvlvje.jpg Here we begin the mock up of the bottom tray, and also add wheels: A preview of the stainless, and something else that we will see more later: First stainless template: And first mock up: Adding some structural support to the frame:
  9. So after the chassis was cut down, we began fitment of test panels and creating templates. Then some support braces to make the chassis strong, as well as a new bottom panel. These were all test pieces at this point. Use of the front of the case: First test fit with the paper mock up panels:

  11. Thank you very much! Should have a pretty big update sometime this weekend!
  12. Next we get into cutting up the case! Now we can see the overall idea coming together. I have also created a little video for you guys, so enjoy! I will try to get a video post, as well as pictures as I go through the process.
  13. We start with the untouched case. I have had this case for a few years, the windowed side panel was an option from Cooler Master. We won't be needing that! Now we start the breakdown. Now we have a bare case, and I am starting to layout what will be the new back panel. It will have dimension to allow for cable management, and mounting of all the internal components. Next post will have some cutting into the frame of the case, as well as a couple videos! Enjoy!
  14. The future is a mystery, the past is history. We do not have the ability to turn the clock, We must make the most, with every shot. Changing lives makes an impression, For the only way to truly surpass the boundary, Is to make sure that you leave something behind. Modder - marcam923 - Marc Molella Above you will find the preview sketch for my plan to accomplish this mod.
