  1. Hello, I keep having ping spike issues with my ASUS PCE-AC56. It floats around the normal 20-30 ping then spikes up to 150+ ping. I've attempted to look up a solution to this issue and people have similar issues. Any idea/thoughts on how i can either fix the issue or minimize it? Thanks.
  2. Ok cool, great to know, does it help more with a high refresh rate like 144hz?
  3. Hello, I've started to notice my PC struggling to keep a frame rate above 60 FPS on newer titles (ex. Bo4, Far Cry New dawn, and even sometimes Subnautica) on Medium to high settings (No AA) (1440p). Is this due to ram speed? I don't expect these low frames to be anything else in my computer, I have a 4790k with 16GB of 1600mhz RAM, and a GTX 1080 ti. I remember back in the day when RAM speed didn't matter, but is it starting to get to a point where higher speeds means something in the gaming world? Thanks.
  4. Somewhat works on a different one, I got the res down to 720p, but on this other monitor, it only allows it to display to 480p and the image is cut in half almost
  5. Changed it to 720p on a tv, then hooked it up to a monitor, it displayed, but in 480p, won't allow me to go to 1080p
  6. Hi, I'm trying to use the HDMI port to hook up my xbox one, It says it's connected at 1920x1080 @ 60hz, but still a black screen. Do this monitor work with the xbox one at all? Thanks!
  7. Which one is better for gaming? I play @ 4k res, not sure if that matters tho.
  8. Just games, this is not my boot drive, I have windows on my SSD
  9. Hi, I'm looking to buy a 4TB hard drive, any recommendations? It will be used to store photos/videos and a lot of games as well, thanks!
  10. Yes, all of my videos and photos are on my HDD, and i put majorty of games on the SSD, but again, some games aren't worth it to put on my SSD as they are too big and eat up A LOT of space and i do play them, but not as frequent.
  11. I did some test and found out that everything else was fine, but the hard drive was at 100% usage the whole time, all my other parts weren't
  12. I currently have about 900GB in SSD space, so I'm not sure if getting more SSD is needed yet as I only put games on it that I play frequently, but some games I have are giant (Ex. Bo3 is 110GB for me) and I don't play often enough to justify putting them on my SSD, I would like to have 3 or 4TB, as the games I have on there + video + photos almost have my 2TB hard drive fully filled. My current drive reads @ 160 MBPS, so any drive that can read above 190 MBPS would be great. I'm shopping in the Chicago land area and normally I go frys electronics, thanks for the help!
  13. Ok, do you have any recommendations of a hard drive?
  14. Just did a test and the hard drive was at 100% usage the whole time
