  1. Thank you for your answer. I did my research for this particular model (rx vega56 Rog Strix). The temps are still high and I 've even read that most people undervolt it to achieve better temperatures. I will consider the Nvdia Features though. Thank you again.
  2. Thank you for your answer. I 'll consider the separate features.
  3. Hello to everyone, I am in a dilemma. I want to buy a new gpu around 270-280 euros (1080p gamer). My options are the MSI GeForce gtx Ti 6GB Ventus XS 6G OC (281,31 euros) and the ROG Strix RX VEGA 56OC edition 8GB (281 euros also). I know that the rx vega 56 will perform better in most games but I don't like the temperatures and noise that will come along (not to mention the power consumption). I also play games like World Of Warcraft which I know the Gtx 1660ti will perform better at. I want your opinion. Do I go for better performance or for better cooling and noise. Also, is it the right time to buy a new gpu? Thank you in advance. My components are: CPU: Intel Core i5-8600k Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370P D3-CF RAM: 8GB 2133 MHZ OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
  4. Same psu and yes his card is weaker. I will try another pci-e slot. Thank you.
  5. One of my friends brought me his gpu (r9 280X) and it worked fine I played games and did benchmarks and everything was fine. I gave him my gpu and to my surprise everything was fine too. He run benchmarks and played video games at high to ultra settings with no problem. Could it be the motherboard or the psu ?
  6. Ok I turned the gpu fans to 100% and then tried to run Heaven Benchmark 4 and the pc crashed again. I am starting to think that this is a PSU problem. Temperature was at 32 Celsius.
  7. I get black screen and the computer crashes. No I don't have a spare gpu. Thank you for your answer.
  8. I agree with you my pc specs are not that good for high settings, but this has never happened to me before. It all started about a week ago on games such as Fortnite and MU Legends. I don't think that these games need a high end pc to run in high settings. In the past I was playing Witcher 3 in high settings with no problem (40-70 fps). Thank you for your answer.
  9. Hello, While gaming in high settings my pc crashes and i have a black screen (no video output). I am pretty sure my gpu is the problem here but I don't think it has anything to do with high temperatures. I was monitoring my Temps and the highest I got was 84 Celsius and while yes I agree it is kind of high I don't think it is too high to cause such a problem. I also run Heaven Benchmark 4 and around 84 Celsius the same thing happened. My temporary solution is to play on low settings (yeah) but I would like to know if anyone has encounter the same thing or know anything about it. There is no overclock in my pc. Thank you all in advance PC specs: GPU: R9 390 Gigabyte CPU: fx-8350 Mobo: Asrock 970 extreme 4 Ram: 8 gb (4x2gb) PSU: Coolermaster G650M
  10. So it was the VRM on my Motherboard (Asrock 970 extreme 4). It was overheating so I lowered the CPU voltage a little and now everything runs smooth. Thank you all for your answers. Best Regards
  11. I turned power efficiency off but nothing changed. It is more likely the VRM on the motherboard but I don't know for sure. Also would a second Fan on the 212 EVO help to fix the problem ?
  12. So I did what you told me and then noticed that in some games it happens at lower Temps. For example when I was playing Overwatch the CPU max Temp was 51c and then it started the FPS Drop, in World Of Warcraft the CPU max Temp was around 50c and then the FPS Drop started and finally in Witcher 3 the Frame Drop happened around 55c-57c degrees Celcius. I don't think that these are normal Temps for the CPU to throttle.
  13. Thank you both for your answers. So how do I do that ?
