Thanks again for the quick response I will try your recommendation.
And thanks for the information.

I would like to thank you ( and everyone else) for the feedback.
You can try this to try and find best ring bus results. It is the approach I decided to try with the 4670k. Basically start by maxing out vrin and piv voltages, find the best ring ratio, then begin to reduce voltages.
set
VCCIN -2.2V
ring voltage - 1.4V
start at a 4400MHz ring bus and start working your way down 43x 44x 42x 41x etc... until you get stable for 8 hours.
after you find stability start working on reducing your PIV and ring voltage as low as possible.
You dont want to reduce the ring bus too low. sure you can go lower than 39x but your performance\ watt ratio will suffer as a result. so its best to try and get it as close as possible to a 1:1 ratio.
usually your ring frequency will be 100-300MHz lower than your core frequency but I can only verify that this is the case when I push the CPU past 4.5-4.6GHz. at 4.4GHz I was able to run at a 1:1 ratio. but that was what my 4770k achieved. your results will vary.. you just need to test..test..test

Stompy got a reaction from heineygoat in [Confirmed] AMD wins race to 5GHz CPU clock speed
sure and will not cost like intel extreme edition cpu
ty amd I now wait and don't buy 4770k
to much for Little technologic
22 nm who said it that good?
And gaming consoles are developed and combined AMD today
It means a lot to market gamers....
octa core developed ...
