  1. I am looking for a laptop with any i7 HQ/MQ (or any powerful quad+ core) with a big battery and 15.6 inch 1080p screen. Another key requirement is a 4 PCIE lane USB-C port to use for an external GPU. I would rather not have a built in dedicated GPU in exchange for longer battery life and lower price. Razer stealth is too small, and the screen resolution imo is pretty stupid for that size. I have looked at laptops like the Dell XPS 15 9560 and Gigabyte Aero 15, and those do satisfy the requirements (especially the big battery) but I would rather have one without a built in GPU, so that it costs under $1500 and has an even better battery life. Any options?
  2. It's a mobile gpu, AMD R9 M265x. The computer it's on is capable to be bought with a 4k laptop screen (Toshiba P50 series)
  3. Thanks! I will update my list with something along the lines of this. Thanks again.
  4. Works, but Mid tower, and ITX, a bit weird... but some kind of fractal design define nano s and that works. Thanks!
  5. Some people sent me builds with a 1070, like this one http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Vdhh7h
  6. Okay, but instead of higher costs going liquid, should I cut down some other costs and go with a 1070? There are builds for $1200 that have a 1070.
  7. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181029 30 dbs make me a bit worried... but I will think about it. A stock clocked 6600k shouldn't bottleneck a 1070... right?
  8. I will think about putting in a 1070 and scraping down the costs of some other components (ie the psu) Thanks for the help!
  9. Liquid cooling, hm... I will have to think about it. Is it a quiet alternative? I would rather have a quiet pc than one that overclocks very well.
  10. I will just use a different mobo instead. But running the 1070 on a freesync monitor, is tearing a big problem?
  11. Sadly no wifi on that mobo., but ofc that can be changed out Is the PSU any good? 50 dollars make me a bit suspicious on its quality, but its not like I know anything about PSUs, you tell me. Neat build.
