I currently have a PC i built but it feels like the CPU is maxing out because i have an i5 but i like to have all different tasks running while gaming. My question is what would you do to make this PC better. I can only spend around $500-600 more (Canadian) Here is the main things I have. CPU- i5 4690k GPU- R9 390 gaming Gigabyte Mobo- z97x gaming 5 Gigabyte 16GB ram ddr3 2300 Cooler- Hyper 212 evo Samsung SSD 850 EVO Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Hello everyone i was just wondering how long it might be for my keyboard to ship from NCIX it is currently on back order its the corsair k70 Non-RGB brown switches. been waiting about 2 week now still no idea also no answer from the ncix customer tickets for some reason thanks ahead of time for any help.

I can't really give you a build but I would suggest maybe a quadro 600 it cost as much as a gtx 960 I believe but meant for solidworks then go with at least 8gb ram and ssd as for the cup best bet is a i7 but not really in budget so that one is either or for the i5 and and as Xeon is not in budget either. Don't completely follow what I say also go on solidworks forum and do some research there they have some builds on there too.

I am also in engineering but I mostly run solidworks and catia my suggestion is go on solidwork and catia and check the others rigs and find a nice mix. http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/shareyourscore.htm I would say you have to go with gaming card most likely nvidia I'll check some out quick though
