As newer and newer laptops keep coming out, most, if not all, of them are ditching the optical drive. That makes sense though, since everything's being digital, however I like collecting blu-ray movies and finding a new laptop that has an optical drive, and also powerful enough to do some light gaming is extremely hard to find. Could someone help find my options? I guess I could always just choose a laptop, and buy those external USB blu-ray players, but that's another thing I have to carry if I want to go somewhere and watch some of my movies. Thanks!

Hi guys! So I'm soon going to get my friend's computer who has a SSD as a boot drive, and a HDD for storage. My computer right now also has a SSD for a boot drive, and a HDD for storage. If I wanted to move all my stuff over, is it as easy as I think it is, with just taking my SSD and HDD and swapping it into his (now my) computer? Really hoping it's that easy with no problems. Sorry for the newbie question.

Hi guys! So I'm looking for a UPS to buy. I don't know anything about UPSs. The reason I want one is because, There's lots of power draw coming from the room my computer's in, which is causing my room lights to flicker. I'm thinking a UPS will help fix that problem. If it doesn't, then I guess I can just return the UPS. So I'm looking at the CyberPower ones. So my question is which model I need. I don't really know how much power my entire system pulls from the wall.

Hi guys! So I got an MSI Apache Pro for an early Black Friday deal, but the speakers on it is in the front-bottom. It's currently on an Amazon Basic laptop stand. The stand is awesome, it's just that it's tilted down, and there are little "legs" that prevent the laptop from slipping off, but it also covers right where the speakers are, so the sound seems very... not good..I was wondering if someone knows a fix to this. I was thinking like.. a very tiny speaker I can stick on the palm area of the laptop.. but of course.. finding one is hard. I want one that I can set and forget, and also be able to close my laptop, since I carry it around with me. Any solutions you guys can think of?

Yeah and I JUST did that haha. But I don't want the same problem on my new laptop, and also I won't have the "revert" option on it so...

Hi guys! So I'm not to sure where to put this topic so hopefully I put it in the right place. So recently I bought a MSI laptop. They were having a Black Friday sale so decided to jump on it. Also on the day I bought it, I finally decided to try Windows 10 out on my desktop. I tried it out for about 3-4 days, and decided I didn't like it. I remembered that my MSI laptop will have Windows 10 pre-reinstalled. So my question is, can I move my desktop version of Windows 7, to my Laptop? I'm hoping it's fairly easy to do. My laptop does have easy access to it's SSD so I can definitely just swap it out for a brand new one. And also when I mean move my desktop version, I mean completely move it.. as in either plug my desktop SSD straight into my Laptop (If I can do that... probably won't be that easy.) or clone it, and not use that Windows 7 on my desktop again. I'll probably buy a Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate for my desktop. If you guys need anymore details, I'll be happy to tell you. I also got questions concerning if it'll ruin my warranty if I am able to move everything over successfully.. but that's a question for the Customer Service. Thanks alot guys!

Hi there! So I have this problem with my computer where, the window that I'm on will lose focus for a split second. I'm googling to try to get rid of this problem (even though it's a split second.. it gets really really obnoxious..) and came up to an old forum that had a c# code posted on it. According to the coder, what the code is suppose to do is get your process, and tell you which process turns on and off via color. I don't think I'll use it actually.. I did abit of research and they do log your activity. They said it's "Temporary" but it's still logged.

Oh yeah I heard about that. How is the VPN? I'm wondering what it logs and stuff...

Hi there! I hope this is the right place to be posting this question... but could you guys recommend me a VPN? So I've been using Tunnel Bear and I LOVE their service. The only problem is.. that they don't support p2p or torrenting... But the thing I loved about Tunnel Bear was that they had a chrome extension, so I can use my chrome to use VPN, while I use Firefox for my emails (since the emails go crazy if it doesn't recognize the IP address.) So now I'm trying to find a VPN that'll allow me to do both... have a chrome extension, AND ALSO allow torrenting. Could you guys help me find one? Thanks a bunch!

So the headsets that I tried were USB too and.. like I mentioned.. it didn't fix it... so sorta hesitant on trying just a USB mic.
