I just built a new pc with a 3900x and 5700 xt and am also planning on getting a new monitor. Which resolution would run better on my setup running modern games on high graphics settings? A Samsung super ultrawide at 3840x108 or a 2560x1440p? Thanks

I currently have an 27inch ips 144hz 1440p monitor. Im thinking about getting the Samsung CHG90 which is a 49inch 144hz utrawide that runs at a resoltion of 3840x1080. So it has more horizontal pixels but less vertical pixels. Will i notice a downgrade in resolution from 1440p? Is it worth the price? I have a gtx 1080 and moslty game and watch youtube.

Hi, should I sell my r9 390x and get a gtx 970 hybrid? I used to have a 390 but it broke and they sent me a 390x. So if I sell my 390x I'll actually have a profit. I like my 390x but it's get super hot. It gets to 94 degrees Celsius and I have no air conditioning. It's pretty much unoverclockable. All I pretty much play is csgo and I have a 1440p screen. So wold getting a 970 hybrid be worth it as I'll actually be profiting and I'll be able to over clock it a lot due to it being liquid cooled. Would over clocking the 970 make up for the performance loss over the 390x? And would the 3.5gb of vram be ok until I hopefully get a upgrade in q4 2017? Thanks, I know I have a lot of questions
