My Rig-CPU- AMD FX 8120RAM- Corsair Vengeance 4x2 GB HDD- Seagate barracuda 2 TB GPU- Sapphire Vapor-X R9 290Mobo- ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA PSU- Corsair TX 750M Hi guys, Don't know why my CPU fan acting weird from past few days, CPU fan only start when processor temp. goes above 50C with 100% rpm and below 50C back to 0% rpm and i think going 0% rpm not a good thing. I tried everything like cleaning CPU fan and vents, checked CPU fan header, reapplied thermal paste, default BIOS, uninstalled Asus AI suit consist Asus Fan Xpert and updated BIOS. My hope is high on this mobo as bcoz this mobo got 8 pin atx it will distribute some power and heatsink on vrm. Something then nothing atleast

I don't think that PSU prob as bcoz first time when that thing burned I had CM GXII 650w it was on warranty they replaced it with CM Storm Edition GX 650w as bcoz GXII discontinued

M5A97 R2.0 saying 140w CPU support will that work ? I don't want to invest that much in this old PC

Just finding someone who have 8 core amd CPU + 4pin atx power connector mobo ....... Want to know are they facing same prob like me. As u can see mine previous post that my motherboard 4 pin atx power got burned and everyone recommend me to get 8 pin atx power mobo which is hard to find + which are available very high in price

OK am buying Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard this got 8pin CPU power connector and 8 core amd fx CPU support and also heatsink on vrm stuffs , this is little bit above my budget but its ok. If u know any good mobo than this with similar price pls le me know
