well I mean the temps don't jump over 40 when playing farcry 4 on high >.< so Heating is not a issue I don't think

So I have a HP J17 envy with an nvida 840m inside of it my question for you all is can I OC this gpu, Yes I know it is a laptop GPU and there is risks when doing so but it mostly sits on a desk and always has a laptop fan mat under it. The reason for wanting to OC this notebook is because its rather choppy and dips in frames when playing games in high or ultra settings and when I drop them to medium I see only a tad difference in frame rates.
