But thanks for the comments, I don't plan on playing at a competitive level so I'm going to get it. Let's hope I roll the dice well with backlight bleed @Brooksie359 @Velcade
-
@Brooksie359 @Velcade I read the review on TFT, and it compares the total pixel response time plus input lag, I think I worded it incorrectly in the post. There will be more ghosting then a 1ms but the total time from when I move the mouse to when things move on screen would be less than the TN counterparts(based on that 1 review sample)

This is actually more of a "is there any reason not to buy it," than whether I should. I want everything it has; 27", 165Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution, g-sync and good height adjust. I have heard that they can have some bad backlight bleed, however I don't think I will notice that too much whilst playing CS:GO. Also it's combined response time is very low, lower than a lot of TN panels (from the limited sources I've read, take this with a grain of salt). It sounds perfect for me, and it's currently only $840 AUD, which is $100 cheaper than normal, on a sale. So is there any reason NOT TO BUY this? I'm just scared to invest that amount of money and find out later I shouldn't have bought it, so I'm trying to cover all my options. Thanks heaps for the help in advance guys

I'm from Aus so rip pricing for me, but that sounds like it's within my budget anyway. Thanks heaps I'll have a look.

Have you tried putting it in a different folder on that same drive and testing it? Have you defragged your HDD recently? This is probably windows displaying it as being there but it's really stored somewhere else. Have you used cmd prompt much? If you can open windows powershell, use cd command to navigate to the folder it's stored in then type the command : ls this will list all of the files in that folder and should bypass windows being windows (hopefully), but not sure. If your not sure how to do this google it, but basically you type: cd "F:\Deadly Labs\Tutorial" into powershell and it should take you to that folder. Good luck

Not sure if cpu cooler is not attached right or if cpu is damaged
OmniPerfect replied to Das Duke's topic in Troubleshooting
Almost definitely the cooler. When on its' side it has gravity help push it onto the cpu, but when you stand it up I bet it loses solid connection. Replace thermal paste and screw that bad boy on tight. -
tl;dr I need a good 2 in 1 for engineering with a stylus and good drawing ability for math and graphs. Currently about to finish my computer science degree and I am about to go into Electrical Engineering, and I'm tired of having to do math and graph drawing on paper. I also have been carrying around a mid tier Gigabyte gaming laptop that is too heavy and serves no real purpose as I already have a desktop at home. Things I need: To be able to write out math and ideally print it if I need it. Run basic circuit design software be somewhat light and durable Not overpriced What do you guys think the best one is? Interested to hear your opinions! ty

Are the apps displayed there still installed on your computer? And if so has the folder they are stored in been moved recently?
-
Yeah I think I will just take it apart and see what's going on inside, thanks it did help

I dropped my s6 and smashed the screen, and now the phone won't turn on at all. I can't connect it to a computer, or feel it vibrate at all. The only thing that comes on is the blue led up the top left that slowly changes between two similar shades of blue. My plan was to take the phone apart and see if anything is disconnected, and if not, replace the screen & digitizer. But I don't want to fork out $200 for a that unless it's actually the issue. So I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone knows what the issue is? Thanks tl;dr Phones broken, whats wrong with it?

There is no best, as long as you get a lga1151 that has ddr4 support it wont affect your gaming performance at all. I suggest you get the Asus z170 pro gaming. If you want to know more do a bit of research into what a motherboard actually does. I'm sure linus has a video on it -

no, for gaming this is the best processor currently out. If you want to understand why, have a look at Linus' recent video on buying a cpu. This man knows his stuff. -

yeah the 6700k is good, although it wont come with a cooler so you will need to get yourself one. I might let you find a good cooler for yourself, just make sure it fits lga1151 motherboards. You can go water cooling if you want as well with like a corsair h100i, but just check that your case supports it.
