  1. So I have an ASUS ROG STRIX Z270-I GAMING with a 7700K and a 2070. I also have three 1TB SSDs installed but am only using one at this time. Whenever i update to try and get all the drivers and such working after it updates to 1809 it just bricks the PC. Its been doing this on all the SSDs inside the PC. I even had a M.2 in there but I took it out hoping that it would fix the problem. I get through the installation of windows from my windows 10 USB from launch, install the WiFi drivers to start updating. After the updates go through after about an hour it resets. Once I get back to the desktop it will stay open for less then five minutes. In the five minutes i will try to install the Nvidia driver for my 2070 and the screen just goes black. The black screen just stays no matter what. I shut it down and try to boot up once again and it goes into the windows boot recovery. Inside the recovery it says one of two things, to roll back which i have but the same problem occurs, or it just says that the C drive no longer exists and that I cannot roll back or try to repair anything, I cant even try to run in safe mode nothing is possible. I have tried to trouble shoot this about 10 times over a 24 hour period and cannot figure it out. I grabbed the latest BIOS and that still didn't help, swapped out the SSDs for other ones and installed it on all of them but nothing. I just don't know what else to do. This PC has been sitting around for about two years because its for VR and I never had a GPU in it until now. The PC ran fine and everything before I got the GPU, once I put it in and did an update it just bricks now. I don't know what to do. Should I remove the GPU or am I just screwed? If anyone can help or has some in site it would mean a lot. *UPDATE* When i take out the GPU the PC works just fine without the GPU. I just don't understand what is wrong with this PC. *UPDATE 2* So the card was DOA, it was an open box and the guy before hand had fried the VRM on the PCB. For some reason it was causing it to brick windows when it windows or myself would try to install the drivers.
  2. Went to the store and the a6000 and the best and its small, light weight, and has a good set of abilities. Most likely going to get her that for Christmas. She liked it a lot too so win win for us hahaha. Thanks again guys really appreciate it!
  3. My girlfriend was talking about a DSLR in passing and how much she wants to get back into photography. I don't know much about photography besides high school photography class so any advice could help. She said she wants a DSLR or something along those lines and wants to just get into amateur photography. Just looking around I saw that the Canon EOS M6 was a good light weight camera with lens options and quality photo and video capture. Would anyone have a better suggestion or comment on something that could be a starter for her. The most I'm looking to spend is about 1,000 USD tax and add-ons can be more as I am flexible.
  4. Hey all I need some help! I work for a police agency where we make daily assignments and attendance sheets for Monday to Friday. When we make them we normally do it one month in advance. My question is how can I make a formula in word that will let me print out the whole month of September without having to manually type in the day month and year like this "Friday August 11, 2017". I attached a stripped version of what it looks like without any personal and sensitive info. If anyone can help me out or has any questions feel free to post. -Seemore Daily Attendance test 2.docx
  5. Just a heads up the Dr. Zaber guys are looking to sell the case after the indigogo is complete and they have added new features. The biggest that Linus would love to hear is that they have changed to Philips head screws and have added dust filters. just a heads up they have it posted on the campaign @ https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sentry-console-sized-mini-itx-gaming-pc-case-computer#/updates
  6. Okay thanks guys ill do that then. I started manually transferring the emails i need and I'll look up any sites i really need stuff from and go from there.
  7. So I have two email accounts; one is a personal yahoo and the other is a work gmail. I want to make a whole new gmail that's just for personal like my yahoo but don't know how to get all my emails to the new account. I know I can just set up email forwarding but that wont help if I delete the yahoo account. I am going to transfer all the old emails to the gmail later today. My question is, is there some way to get all the sites that email me to send it to a new email address without going to each site and giving them my new account info? I found this link https://support.google.com/mail/answer/56283?hl=en that tells me how to get all the old emails to my new account but i don't know if any new ones will come if I delete the yahoo once the transfer is complete. Does anyone have an words of advice?
  8. Just got the O2 in the mail today from massdrop and hooked it up. I bought the Desktop Edition - 220 V - Medium Gain (1.0x Low, 3.3x High) to use with my AKG K7XXs. I did the math and saw that it would work with my AKG K7XXs so I jumped on this deal. Problem is when trying to use it i get this sound like a thumping that wont go away. I used three different pairs of headphones/ earbud and still get the sound. I even get the sound when it is not plugged into an audio source. Did I get a lemon or do something wrong? Does this mean I need to use a DAC as well with this AMP? I have no idea what is going on, I saw that what I got was the right one to run my headphones. Just really lost, can anyone help? I posted on the discussion on massdrop and have seen other people with this problem. Any ideas, comments suggestions, or feedback would help!
