  1. Okay that worked thanks a lot guys !!
  2. Surely there wasn't enough voltage going through to cause too much of a problem. Might just stick with a mild overclock then - have removed the battery for a few minutes now, will wait a little bit then put it back in. Does this reset the BIOS?
  3. Put an i5-4690k at 4.5GHz with 1.070V (not enough voltage i believe), so hopeflly i didnt fry anything! Motherboard is MSI z97 PC Mate
  4. Put in an overclock that was clearly too large on my new machine and now it wont boot. It turns on, the LEDs work and the fans turn, but the screen remains black. Please help! Processor i5-4690k Motherboard: MSI PC Mate z97
  5. I will have a look when I am back at my pc in a few hours, thanks for the advice
  6. Nope, I click on auto and nothing happens, no pop up letting me change it to manual
  7. Hey everyone, So i just built my first pc with the msi z97 pc mate mobo and the i5-4690k cpu, however when i boot up into BIOS and click overclock settings, everything is auto and it wont let me change the cpu ratio....tried going into the advanced settings but everything is still on auto and won't let me change it....help?
  8. Can't find a manual online for this, and there are no obvious ways of pulling the front of the case off (i dont want to simply yank at it in case thats wrong)
  9. I have a sharkoon vg4-w and I'm looking to switch out he front case fan for a static pressure optimized fan from corsair due to the hard drive cage being unmoveable, but for the life of me I don't know how to get to the fan to change it, or even clean the filter. Any thoughts?
  10. no ideas, standard case fans for the Sharkoon VG4-W case.
  11. I spent a lot of a good power supply from be quiet as well... maybe it needss a little run in. Also - the front case fan is considerably noiser than the back case fan, even though they are the same fan? any ideas?
  12. Okay its turning on, however the power supply is making a faint...i dont know how to describe it...tiny pinging noise, juddering, relatively high pitched but quiet
  13. What are you looking for a pic of exactly?
