  1. I looked. It is supposed to be automatically enabled. (if you know something in the BIOS I don't though, that'd be great
  2. Hey guys, I just got a new Asrock Fatality Z97 yesterday but for some reason, it is not recognizing my GPU on its PCI-E slot. However, it works on the bottom, PCI-E 2.0 x4 slot. What could be the issue here? I have done the following: Reseated the GPU Reset the CMOS Verified I have the latest BIOS version. Made sure the power connectors are on the GPU Also, when I look at the system browser, my motherboard doesn't even think my GPU exists, at all (the slot appears empty on the system browser)
  3. Alright, so what do you think is the issue here?
  4. What do you mean?
  5. The part where it says "Bus Interface Load" which is my PCI-Express slot. Speaking from experience, anytime it gets that high, my frame rate drops significantly, which is weird because even though I'm at 2.0 x8, it shouldn't be causing that big of a performance drop (2-5% in worst case scenerio)
  6. I'll give it a try, doubt its a Vsync issue though (it happens regardless if Vsync is on) and the fact its killing the but interface is worrying to me but its worth a shot
  7. Hey guys, I'm having some issues with CoD MW Remastered performance. I have the following i5-4570 8 GB RAM GTX 760 650W EVGA 80+ Gold Windows 10 Home 64 bit The weird thing is, the massive FPS issues happen randomly and it kills the bus interface for some reason. Sometimes it'll run at a solid 60 FPS, other random spots it'll drop down to 20-30 FPS even when I lower the settings (Zero FPS gains)
  8. Yeah, they think its because some PCI-E contacts could be defective but its been ages si nce then
  9. I kinda fear it is because my Bus Interface Load in MW Remastered can go up to 60% at times which, from what I hear, can cause FPS issues but I could be wrong lol
  10. yeah, I removed the battery off my motherboard and re-inserted it back in, still didn't work PCI-E.bmp
  11. I've also inspected my slot too, all the contact are there.
  12. Both in my BIOS and GPU-Z.
  13. Hey guys, I still to this very day have no found a solution to why my motherboard is running at PCI-E x8. I've updated the BIOS, verified the correct settings, reseated the GPU, verified its not the GPU (as I had to replace my GPU before due to a different issue) and inspected the slot, as well as used compressed air to clean it, and despite all this, I'm still at x8 and not x16 where I should. Is there anything else I can possibly do? My specs: MSI H81M-E33 8 GB DDR3 RAM GTX 760 650W EVGA 80+ Gold PSU Windows 10 Home 64 bit.
