  1. Hello there, I really want to ask for an advise from more experienced users than myself abot L2TP internet speed. So I bought NetGear AX1800 RAX20 router (latest firmware already installed) and it seemed to work fine by delivering 100mb/s stable connection. However after I bought new xbox console I noticed that I am always getting disconnected from online gaming even though everything is connected directly by internet wires. After discussing this issue with my ISP I've been told that I need a vpn connection using L2TP which they can provide me with. After entering all the credentials in my router I got VPN L2TP connection and my console started to work just fine. However I didnt check my internet speed at that same moment. Lately I've noticed my internet speed is limited to 60mb/s while using VPN which is almost 50% less the amount I am paying for. If I turn L2TP option off - my speed comes to normal 100mb/s. As a solution my ISP offered me to try their own router (Mikrotik hap-lite 7442a-94125ND) which is significantly smaller and, on paper, less powerful. BUT using this router with L2TP my connection is basically 100mb/s. ISP explained to me that my routers CPU is not powerful enought to encrypt all the data so it limits the bandwidth. Another solution would be to turn L2TP encryption off, but I did not find this option in my router setting. Mikrotik router seems to handle this without any problem for some reason and I get 100mb/s stable connection. So the main question: is my NetGear router so bad (even though it costs 3 times as much) that it can not deliver 100mb/s bandwidth with L2TP connection or am I missing something? I would like to keep my NetGear router because it has so many features and controlling it with an app sometimes is really usefull, but this 60mb/s limitation really forces me to take Mikrotik router instead.
  2. It kinda is a new problem simply because I've never played that much Fortnite on PC. My main platform for this game is my xbox and it runs flawlesly. Not a single stutter at constant 120fps. On my PC tho... Its simply bad. And thats on directx11. If i turn DX12 and ray traicing - I get more stutter than fps
  3. Hi guys, Got a problem, I hope you can give me a right direction to solve it. So basically my Fortnite gives me very strong stutters everytime I play. I've tried to even play on lowest settings possible, but still I get stutters (overall i get less amount of them, but still i get them constantly). On epic video settings i get more of them. I got the latest drivers, fresh windows 11, rtx 3060, i7 8700 (non-k), 15 gb ddr4 3200 (but it runs on 2666 with xmps, cuz thats the max), fortnite sits on nvme drive, PC and GPU are both in high perfomance mode. My temps are all good, nothing running in the background (well apart from discord). I did screenshots with the perfomance graphs and noticed I get most of the stutters when I see Ethernet and CPU graph spikes accuring. After playing for a while graph smothens out for some extent and i start to get less stutters but they are there no matter what. I get this sort of stutters only in fortnite. I played BF5 on max settings and its silky smooth with 100% gpu and cpu utilization. PS. I got Vertical sync and Triple buffering enabled in my nvidia control panel, without it I get awful screen tearing, locked 60 fps from vsync is totaly fine for me.
  4. Hello guys! Hope you are doing well So i got myself a pair of UiiSii C8 earphones for my OnePlus 6T. The main reason for buying these was a usb-c type connection, I just hate adapters/dongles. UiiSii work perfectly with my OnePlus, never had any issues. My PC however doesn't want to work with them for some reason. I have a MSI B360M Mortar motherboard, which has a usb-c type port. When I stick UiiSii into motherboards usb-c port, nothing happens. It just does not recognize them at all. I've already updated my MB BIOS to the latest version as well as audio drivers from B360M official website. Earphones do not appear in sound menu. Choosing Realtek Digital Output instead of a standard one makes no difference. Maybe you have some ideas how to make UiiSii pairing/working with my PC?
  5. oh ok then, nothing to worry about)) I just thought maybe something was going wrong. Thank you for you responce)
  6. Hello guys, Want to ask you about my i7 8700 clock speed. I've downloaded CPUID just to check out my gpu usage in BF5, but instead I've noticed CPU strange behaviour. Long story short while idling my CPU clocks varie from 4.3 to 4.6 Ghz. But when I play some CPU intensive title like BF5, CPU clocks are 4.3 Ghz. Main question is why does it happen and is there any possible way to get that 4.6 Ghz while gaming for some extra drop of perfomance?
  7. at least after driver isntalling.Even if drivers are not shown, the gpu model is there. After driver wiping gpu name is not there anymore. Right now on windows 7 I see in in devise manager
  8. Hi guys, I really need some help with this one. So I've decided to put new hardware in my parents PC with new windows 10. Everything was fine until gpu overheated (I didnt notice that black gpu fan wire was damaged in building process, so I started pc with no gpu cooling). Everything worked fine for a few minutes and then I saw artifacs on my screnn and felt some strange smell and realized rhat gpu was damn hot. I turned power off right away and after a few minutes restarted pc. After fixing gpu fan I didnt see any artifacts even once BUT! my pc now cant detect any gpu drivers. Windows 10 shows only "basic microsoft driver" and resolution only not higher than 1600x1200. Installing latest driver after cleaning with DDU didnt help. In fact nothing has helped. I even installed Windows 7, but in gpu adapter settings driver is shown as VgaSafe... And no other installed drivers are shown. Sill 1500x1200 is the highest resolution. Gpu is nvidia 9800gt. Is my gpu totaly dead and thats the reason for not finding drivers? I see no artifacts after overheating incident... Plz help)
  9. I usually turn off my pc, and yes I did restart it. Oh well. So it seems that I just have to live with it. Or wait for another win 10 update. Maybe it will fix it
  10. Hello guys, Can somebody help me to eliminate the issue with my mouse cursor (i guess)? The main problem is that circle DOES NOT SPIN. It just appears and stays for a pretty long period of time and then randomly dissapearing. Even if hdd is not at work. Even while typing this message this circle is there, not spinning, just annoying... And I dont have anything running in the background except for windows defender, Realtek HD and Radeon settings. This circle does not affect anything (as far as I can tell) but it is really ANNOYING. Anyone had the same problem? Windows 10
  11. Hi guys, Having this really nasty problem, that I have really annoying lag spikes on wireless connection (and wired as well). Spikes occure only when I am gaming online (like WoW) and 2 other devices use the network (samsung tablet and an old pc). When someone is watching movies online on the tablet I have like 1000ms lag spikes every 2-3 minutes. The download speed is constant thow, was downloading 3 games while using tablet, no prob. But gaming... When only my pc uses internet - everything is smooth. But when the tablet with online movies comes in... daaamn. The internet speed is 100 down and 100 up mbit. Even when tablet is in use the Okla speed test shows 70-90 mbit down and up speed on my pc with5-15 ping. But still I get lag spikes. in games. In my pc I have some trendnet PCI wireless card with an antenna (150/150 mbit speed) and the router is D-link dir 600 (3 or 4 years old). How can I tweak router to eliminate those spikes or I really need a new router?
  12. Hello guys, while upgrading my pc I run into a problem that my mobo (msi h110m pro-vd) does not recognize my msi r9 280x 3g. The gpu led indicator is red and mobo gives 1 long and 2 short beep codes. After tinkering a while I came to a conclusion that mobo recognizes gpu ONLY if I set pcie mode to gen2. If it is he to auto mobo automatically tries to find gen3 gpu. The same problem was on my previous mobo (asrock a88xfm2 extreme4+) where mobo could run gpu if it was placed into 4x pcie, not the 16x one. So I gues it's the gpu issue for sure. But is it a serious problem, that I can run my pc only if gpu works in gen2 mode? And how much perfomance am I losing by doing that? I mean if gen2 vs gen3 is only 2-5% of overall perfomance, then I don't care really. But If I am losing 10-20%, then it's the real problem.
