Thanks guys, never thought that it could be the power button, i dont think it could be anything else, i could try use a screwdriver to turn on the computer and see it works every time, and also there is no pattern

my computer just doesnt start first time, i dont know why, its my first custom built computer i've done my self so i dont know if i done anything wrong. Hi guys so this is my first pc build , for some reason my computer wont start straight away. i have to click the power switch multiple times,i have to turn the on and off multiple times on the power supply, or take out the power lead and plug it back in. On 2 occasions it has randomly shut off. Also when i take out my mouse and plug it back in (usb), its shuts down also. I am confused, it will do everything else fine play games, stream, internet browsing, downloading, watching dvd's. It just takes a lot of messing around with stuff to get it to start up. okay so what is the point in a boot order? because i am seeing a lot of videos telling me to put the cd drive or the ssd first?

so once i have installed the os, i go back into the bios to put the ssd first?

but i thought the ssd has to boot first so the os will boot first?

so if i want install windows 7 to ssd, is this order okay because my wd1tb is there but not ssd?

ok so how should i put mine in order from the list i gave you above? i don't get what UEFI is.

Hi guys, this is my first computer build and I'm stuck on the bios, I have an msi gaming 5 motherboard. All i need to change is the boot priorities to the cd drive to boot windows 7, but i am confused, a lot of stuff has a little u on them (UEFI). do the u's go first or the drives without. And also I want to boot windows 7 off my ssd so in what order should the other drives be? thanks
