  1. As far as I can tell, you can click start on Aida64 and it'll run until something crashes or you click stop.
  2. Imo, most of your parts can still hold its own today. The only thing I'd upgrade might be the RAM (16GB DDR4) and the GPU (1060 6GB). But yes, like FrodeLarsson said, I would also start first by looking through your storage space. Look through your storage space meaning: Deleting old documents you don't need anymore Deleting old programs you don't use anymore Deleting old Windows update files Open Windows Explorer to "This PC" tab Right click on "C:/" drive Click on "Properties" Click on "Disk Cleanup" Click on "Clean up system files" Check every box available (usually what I do) Click OK and let it do its thing Also, pending Windows updates might also slow down your computer. Check for updates. Check your Task Manager as well, when you first boot, check how much "stuff" is being used. Like say your "CPU" tab says "80%" on boot, with no programs "open". See what's using that by clicking on the CPU tab to sort it by highest to lowest. Same goes with "Memory" and/or "Disk". If you have any crazy popups saying you have thousands upon thousands of errors, uninstall that program. You do not have thousands upon thousands of errors. That is just a scare-tactic to make you buy their product. Whether it be an "Antivirus" or some sort of "Cleaner" like CCleaner. There might be more I'm missing but that's where I would start. Last resort is reinstalling Windows but that's really a last resort thing before upgrading.
  3. I'm not sure of any like public servers or anything of the sort regarding PoSes but I know when I worked at the grocery store, I was usually the one talking to NCR about their self checks and fixing them. Usually the people that gets sent out to repair them, if any, don't seem like the type to have a public forum/Discord account. I'm sure most of these companies wouldn't want proprietary knowledge to be publicly shared like that anyway.
  4. A terrible old HP Pavilion shouldn't define your entire IT career. I've destroyed multiple laptops trying to repair them but it still didn't stop me. Most of the time, repairing old laptops will be very tedious but it should teach you things. Don't really worry about not being able to fix it imho. It should just a learning experience if you don't fix it.
  5. I feel like a trial version of Aida64 could stress every part (CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage drives) of your build for 48 hours, the watermark doesn't really matter at that point. Unless you're looking to automate, I'm not too familiar with anything of that nature.
  6. Hello, I am planning to build a Mini ITX system and I've already bought the case. I'm going to buy the cooler, psu, and storage next but the X52 is oos. I was wondering if the X63 will fit since the H210i supports 2x140mm in the front with an 85mm rad clearance. Thanks!
  7. Alright cool. My monitor isn't even 1080p Kappa. 1680x1050 dude, gotta get a stand for my 1080p monitor before I could use it but I digress, thanks that's what I thought.
  8. The cheapest 6 gig 1060 I found was ~$270 while the cheapest 3 gig I found was ~$200 (USD).
  9. I have a build planned out in PCPartPicker here and I have a question on it. Is the 1050Ti good enough for the 1500x or should I shell out for the 1060? Also, I know the RGB ram and the RGB motherboard isn't necessary but I'd like some bling in my system since I will be upgrading my cooling & fans to NZXT Aer RGB's. Thanks for any replies!
  10. The board only has a single 4 pin connector for cpu power
  11. I have two fans on the cooler if that changes anything and my mobo has overclocking settings I just don't know what any of it really means
  12. I'm a first-time overclocker who wants to overclock his AMD Phenom II X4 945 to at least 4 GHz. It's a Deneb chip with a 95W TDP. A step by step would be great but some tips would also be just as helpful. Thank you. Here are the specs of my computer- Processor- AMD Phenom II X4 945 Deneb 95W TDP RAM- 8GB Samsung chips Power Supply- EVGA 600W Cooler- Cooler Master Hyper T4 Video Card- Radeon HD 7570
  13. Does anyone know where/how to get Blackmagic's disk speed test utility?
