I'm currently typing this on my 7 year old HP laptop. It runs idles extremely hot (60°C+) and I don't even turn this thing off, yet it's never had any problems whatsoever*. *Except that it runs idles hot.

I'd suspect that there might be something wrong with the actual camera sensor.

You may want to clean it. Also you can check the temperatures to see if they are running too hot, causing them to throttle. -

I don't have any compatibility issues with Nvidia drivers on Windows 10. Worked flawlessly since day one. -
My monitor has a response time of 6.5ms GTG. Works for me.
