oh, i thought the radiator got air, and created water for it to go through the tube. that makes sense. my post was about the radiator not being able to pick up air since the exhaust is pushing air away from the radiator so it wouldnt be able to intake. this all makes sense now. exactly, thats the way i was thinking it should be, but in every vid on youtube, the fan is covering the radiator, thats what im saying

what you explained makes complete sense, but all i'm saying is, the exhaust will be pushing air out, not allowing the radiator to gain air EDIT: also, in that video, the cooler is where it is, but in the videos ive watched, its the opposite place, the radiator and cooler switch places

exactly, it would take it from inside to outside, and that means its pushing air outside, not allowing the radiator to pick up air to transfer to the cpu

Hey, i was watching some videos on how to install a cpu water cooler, (mine is kraken x61) and i noticed that people like paul from newegg, mentioned that their fan is an exhaust. When they installed the fan on the radiator, it was an exhaust fan? I want to know the reason for this. Wouldnt putting exhaust push out air so the radiator cant collect any to power the cpu? Please help,i really need help i dont want to mess up anything.

I'm building this pc for several reasons, i will be doing heavy gaming, i want to achiever 150fps+ on MOST games, i realise i wont be maxing out witcher 3 at 150fps, so i will stick to a 60hz on witcher 3, i will be streaming on twitch, i will be recording gameplay and doing youtube videos, i will be doing editing, i also dont want to cheap out and have to upgrade later on, i probably look like a spoiled brat but i've been working my ass off to get this type of money, at $9/hr. I want this computer to last ( i know later on i will need to upgrade) as much as possible. In the future if i need to upgrade i will probably just add another 980 ti, If it doesnt have that stuttering everyone says sli does.

As stated in the description, i don't want to see why spend that much etc.. i just want to see i you can provide better equiptment for the price. or if you have any comments on it. ultra wide as in 3 or 2 monitors? I don't think ill like it, but i can use my 1080p monitor i have now to go 2 way, but in my opinion i think 1 monitor is better. but when i do stream on twitch i will probably use my 1080p monitor to have twitch on or the browser etc.. EDIT: i just realised what ultrawide means, i wont be getting it becasue i need the specs this monitor provides, its the best monitor for 1440p, has g sync 144hz, 120, all that good stuff 1ms, etc..

Hi i'm going to be building what the title says, it will include monitor, mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, and of course, the PC it self. I'm posting this to see if there is anything i can improve on, not to save money, but for better performance for near the same amount i'm spending. I don't want to see comments on, you will be fine with an i5, please, i just want some feedback on the parts, thank you. I use amazon and the price is near $4,400 so the pcpartpicker will be somewhat close. Also, for the case, i'm listing the r5 titanium windowed here, but i want to get the phanteks evolve atx when it comes out. about $70 more expensive. maybe bottleneck isn't the correct word, i'm sorry for that, but it keeps the 980's performance limited. you will get roughly the same performance with a 970 paired with a 4690k @ 4.2ghz

and get a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler

complete bottleneck, if you want your 980 to perform as well as it does you will want to go with a 4790k to prevent bottleneck, also get a samsung ssd rather than kingston, i've heard a lot of bad things about kingston and samsung is same price and better performance
