  1. So a few days ago, i swapped all of components over from an antex gx500 to the corsair air 540. Today is the first time that I've been able to really mess with anything so i decided to run a few benchmarks just to make sure everything was running alright. In the antec case, my Strix 970 with full load would run somewhere between 65-75 degrees with i think around 40% fan speed but now is idling at 50 degrees and as soon as i run anything intense, shoots all the way up to 92 degrees and 100% fan speed. Everything else is running perfect with better temps than before and such. I really have no idea what could have happened to have the card heat up so much more and the fan speed to go wild. I have returned all of the overclocks on the gpu back down to default with Asus Gpu tweak if that is at all important. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. In all honesty, I'd like to stay around 250, but im very much willing to consider headphones over that if the gains are more than marginal.
  3. I'm looking for some nice over ear headphones for under about $350 USD (although, I am willing to spend slightly more if there is one clearly better headphone). I've looked at the Audio Technica M50x's as well as their MSR7's, Sennheisers Momentums, Bowers & Wilkins P7, etc. All i read is that these headphones are all great and it makes me pretty indecisive. I will be mostly using the headphones for gaming, music (mostly heavy rock/metal but some other), and general day to day use with not a ton of travel, but the headphones will definitely go through a few airports. I don't have a ton of requirements, just good sound, not too heavy on the bass, and i would prefer them to include multiple detachable cables. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

  5. I can't really say anything about the rest of the mother boards, but I'm rocking the Asus deluxe in my personal build and have had no problems and plenty of success with it. I absolutely LOVE it. I think whichever way you go, you're going to be getting a great motherboard. Just my two cents (which really may not be worth two cents).
