  1. You remind me of southpark season 18's final episode.
  2. damn, that's gonna be a problem considering my sh*t internet connection. I hope their download server isn't as bad as rockstar's.
  3. Great, thanks! I'm almost done, I think I'll go with those settings and lower shadows, with no AA. Let's see how it goes. Very excited to play the game, I hope I don't encounter any problem. I have slow internet, and I would hate it if they would require a 5 Gb patch download just like what rockstar did with GTA V.
  4. Still installing the game, physical copy. Longest hour and a half of my life. I have GTX 970 G1 gaming and i5 4690k. What settings do you recommend I run it in?
  5. Any ideas?
  6. Hi! After 7 days of frustrating attempts to install GTA V because of the shitty download client that they have, I've finally installed the game and updates. However, I've encountered a new problem. This happens exactly at the part where I'm chasing the fat guy "D". The error says Failed_zlib_2 or something. I don't remember the exact error code. I've found a fix and it involves deleting all the corrupted x64*.rpf files. Fortunately, none of them are corrupted. I have the CD version by the way. When I tried verifying the files in the update folders, I didn't find a match for the following files; update.rpf mpheist patchday2bng patchday3ng metadata.dat I know that all I have to do is delete these files and redownload the missing ones, but I'm worried that it might force me to download the whole 5Gb and 400Mb updates all over again. As I have mentioned earlier, it took me 7 whole days to download those updates. Is there a way I can avoid this and fix the problem immediately? Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!
  7. Interesting, I'm now able to reach 5.03Gb/5.04, and it's stuck there. I'm worried that there is another patch after this.
  8. I've tried downloading it again, and now I'm stuck at 2.90Gb/5.04Gb. The download speed is literally at 0 bytes/second. Any ideas?
  9. Rockstar's customer support doesn't help either. Didn't even reply to my email and ticket.
  10. That's really good to know, I'm still really frustrated though, I've been downloading this patch for more than 5 days now since I bought the disks. *sigh*
  11. I see. The patches are actually my problem right now. It wouldn't download, when I'm at 80% - 97% to completion, the downloading stops. That 5 Gb is a big pain in the a** if the download server always gets disconnected for no reason.
  12. Has anyone in here bought the physical copy of the game? did you have troubles installing it? or did everything go smoothly?
  13. *Sigh* I can't believe this is happening. Does anybody know a download link or a torrent link where I can download those patches without going through that stupid DRM?
  14. I should probably mention, I've been downloading for like 4 - 5 days now, since I've bought the DVDs. This is my 5th attempt to download the patch because after a while, I would get an error then the download would start again from the beginning. But so far, this is the best attempt that I've made, I've reached 4.8Gb without starting all over. Problem is, it's not moving anymore.
