Hi Community! I'm on the market for a nice pair of bookshelf speakers with the best bang for your buck and a appropriate receiver. I'm a novice when it comes to this topic and wanted to pick your guy's brain on what i should drop my hard earned money on. This set up will primarily be used for music and a occasional movie here and there. Types of genres that will be played would be EDM, Country, and hip hop. I pretty must started my research doing what any uneducated person would do and it was to search for the "best" speakers and go to the appropriate price range. Hi Guys, I tried to install a custom rom to my HTC One s and now I have no OS and no Recovery. I just need a simple OS installed preferably to stock. But the thing is I have no idea how to find/run a rom in order to put an OS back onto the phone. When I boot the phone on by holding the power and volume down the screen says: tampered unlocked VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL HBOOT - 2.15.0000 RADIO-1.13.50.05.31 OPENDSP-V31.1.0.45.0815 EMMC-BOOT DEC 14 2012 HBOOT FASTBOOT RECOVERY FACTORY RESET CLEAR STORAGE SIMLOCK IMAGE CRC SHOW BARCODE: And if i go into fastboot it says Bootloader reboot reboot boot loader power down myboot loader is clockwork mod recovery v6.0.4.8 and there is literally nothing on this phone. If anyone can help you will be a God. Thanks!!

So I have posted before and i'm still stuck on what headphone to get. I just discovered the AKG K7XX on mass drop for $199 What do you guys think of these headphones? AKG 612 Pro AKG K7XX Byerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250ohm Those are the 3 headphones I've came down too. I want to game listen to music and watch movies. I am getting a Schitt stack later on to power them and to use multiple sources for these headphones. I wan to get the best headphone in the $150-$200 range. What have you guys been using and which one out of my list would be the king of the crown?

I would be getting the Schiit Magni 2. Do you own a pair of AKG? I know I cant go wrong with either I just want to make sure that once I fork over the cash for them I don't want to second guess myself.

Do you have a amp powering those or a sound card? How is the on board audio for them?

I read that the HD 558's Use the same driver and has teh "same frequency response curve" and it is $60 cheaper? I origonally wanted the 598's until i came across the AKG and DT-990.

I'm in the market for a new Gaming/Multimedia Headset. I want to upgrade from my current headset (Astro A40). The two that I've narrowed down to are: 1. AKG 612 Pro 2. Beyerdynamic DT-990-Pro-250 The games I mostly play are CSGO, and some casual games like Battelfront and Farcry. I also enjoy watching my movies with a headset on so that is important to me also. I've heard nothing but positive experiences from both headphones. The only thing that I get confused with is the audio jargon a lot of people use like Sound stage, Analytical, warm, and laid back. The Beyerdynamics are $40 more on amazon right now so is it worth the extra cash for it? Let me know what you guys think and thanks for all the advice.

Ahh ok that makes sense I feel like an amp will always or marginally make any headset more lively by giving it more Juice. Is there a way to test that you are getting any hissing noise from the on board? I have my headset on now and It is silent.

Thanks that was very Helpful. so in order for me to use a Schiit Magini 2 amp then I would need a Dac Correct? In order for me to use a amp I need one to have a 3.5mm Input on it?

Would you need a Dac if you are using onboard audio? What is the purpose of a dac?

I think we would all prefer not to buy something we dont have to but in a perfect world It would be nice to just get the headphones and go. I was looking at the FIIO E10K and JDS Labs O2. But like i said before i have no experience in this stuff and reached out to you guys.
