Hello all!
Soo I have built a new pc and ever since have had some strange voltage issues with my gpu. The gpu mind you was not old, i have been using it for 7 months no issues!
sometimes sitting at desktop or searching the web it would spike to 100% and stay there until i restart or it would drop to 0% and freeze! also requiring a restart.
After two days of messing around with everything i could possibly think of, Drivers, bios, testing PSU's. I could not get it to go away so I jumped on the asus forums and asked for help. They all insisted it was my GPU so I swapped it out and added a 660 ti instead. 2 days went by and all seemed well so I RMA my 680. Tonight however... the random black screen has returned.
It only happens rarely! and sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row where the screen will blank out for 2-3 seconds and return with no errors of any kind in event viewer and no warning of a driver crash.
Now I am hearing hoping someone out there will no the answer to my problem =( help me plz :P
