  1. My headphones are Sennheiser HD 558's and my speakers are Klipsch Pro-media 2.1. Happens to both of them =(
  2. Hello, I seem to have a strange problem that I can not find a solution too! First I was using onboard audio and the audio would be fine for a few hours but then would make static noises and popping noises. After a restart it would go away. To rule out bad onboard audio I baught a xonar DG and had the same problem! Then moved to a creative sound blaster Z and it would seem the problem still persists. Still after hours of use the audio goes wacked and after a restart it is fine. I have also tried different pci slots on the board. Specs. Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Formula Current sound card: Sound Blaster Z OS: Windows 8 SSD: Corsair m4 128 GPU: evga GTX 680 sig 2 PSU: Corsair HX 750 CPU: i7 3770k
  3. I have my PC plugged in directly to the outlet. The rest of my devices like monitors/speakers and what not is plugged in to a power strip.
  4. I will try and up the voltage but it was doing it on my 680 and now my 660 ti. I shall try tho just to see. No but I could use the onboard graphics for a few days to see what happens. tried multiple pci slots on the board. Have not yet tried another motherboard so I will have to pull out an old one and see what happens. Thanks for all the help, from everyone! I really appreciate it
  5. I have done fresh OS installs and used driver sweeper before every driver installation. Have also tried all drivers from 310.70 and up. Event viewer shows 1 critical error in the last 4 days and it was "Kernal-power" Possibly the monitor but only reason i think its not is because i have 2 and they both go out at the same time and both are relatively new. both are "Samsung S27B550" if that helps any. ugh I just don't get it =( I have been troubleshooting pc's for ever and never been stumped like this lol
  6. Hello all! Soo I have built a new pc and ever since have had some strange voltage issues with my gpu. The gpu mind you was not old, i have been using it for 7 months no issues! sometimes sitting at desktop or searching the web it would spike to 100% and stay there until i restart or it would drop to 0% and freeze! also requiring a restart. After two days of messing around with everything i could possibly think of, Drivers, bios, testing PSU's. I could not get it to go away so I jumped on the asus forums and asked for help. They all insisted it was my GPU so I swapped it out and added a 660 ti instead. 2 days went by and all seemed well so I RMA my 680. Tonight however... the random black screen has returned. It only happens rarely! and sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row where the screen will blank out for 2-3 seconds and return with no errors of any kind in event viewer and no warning of a driver crash. Now I am hearing hoping someone out there will no the answer to my problem =( help me plz :P system specs. i7 3770k Asus Maximus V Formula evga gtx 680 s2 "Now a gtx 660 ti" 16 GB corsair vengeance H100i "not using corsair link" corsair HX750 also a GS700 both less than 4 months old Crucial M4 ssd 1TB WD black HD
