  1. It is Sata. About the Ram I don't even know if they are really working, but I will try to put them in other system just to see. Thanks for the answer, maybe I will do that and reuse some parts
  2. Hi there guys, if anyone could help me I would really apreciate it, really. So here's the thing, my dad has this very old computer, like 5/6 years I guess and out of nowhere now it doesn't show anything in the monitor. I've tried a couple of things: -changed the monitor; -removing the graphics card; -removing the Ram (tried them both in different sockets); -clear cmos through the jumpers; - and a couple a things I don't remember. But nothing really happens. I even have the speaker to hear that little bips to know if anything's wrong and even that doesn't make a sound. It is very strange cause I CAN turn on the PC, the processor fan is running, everything is connected but I can't see anything at all. I think that the mobo died. Here some kickass specs: -Biostar p4m890-m7 pci-e; -Intel Pentium 4 LGA775(with stock cooler); -Asus EAX1300HM512; -DDR2 Rams, I guess? I don't really know. -300GB 3'5" hard drive; -240W Power Suply; -And a horrible case from Packard Bell. Do you have any tips? What should I do?
  3. i'm pretty sure I'll have to buy one too... I was trying to get the digitizer out of there, and it took me awhile cause it had a lot of glue, and when i finished turned it on to see if everything's ok and show me this .... I guess i putted to much pressure at some point and it cracked... In this case I can, cause the digitizer and the lcd are 2 separate parts I was getting the digitizer out man. If i put one finger in top of it some of the stripes from the top disapears tough
  4. Hi guys, So I was trying to fix this tablet's (ASUS Fonepad 7 K00E) broken touch screen, when suddently it starts showing some kind of stripes in the screen or so? I don't know if it's broken or ... Is there any way to fix this like DIY kinda stuff or do I really need to buy a new LCD? Thanks for the help!
  5. Well, unless you're not sure on which parts should you choose buy one that already have all the components. I recommend you to pick the parts that fit your needs if you really know a little more about them, and in case you're not totally confident in your build, write the specs here and we're going to help you out
  6. Just ended up a 2 year relationship cuz apparently all I had to do was being with her 24/7 without working to pay my sh*t and don't hang out with any friends. The excuse was 'you don't have time for me anymore' well f*ck you spoiled child. Ironically she's already dating her 'bestfriend'... and guess what? I ended up with no friends because of this bitch. Just an advice, simply don't fully trust women.
  7. static-electricity can be valid as well...
  8. The result that you got it's with the system in heavy load? I think 600W it's the best option cause I want an SSD in the future and probably some couple of fans to keep things running smoothly. That's fine, I really apreciate your help in this
  9. I'm thinking about Corsair CX500 80+ but I'm really worry about it cause I don't know if that's going to be enough for it. Just went to the CoolerMaster Power Supply calculator and the minimum is 440W but I searched a bit more and theres people saying that 600/700W its better because of the power consumption of the GPU. Don't know what to choose now.
  10. I agree, and I will definitely going to spend an extra money in the PSU for it cuz I don't want to buy an extinguisher instead lol
  11. Apreciate that but I can't look at that prices cause I'm from Portugal and the cost of every piece it's a lot diferent here, also I can't buy the SSD right now cause I'm on a budget of 750/800€ and with the 600W PSU I'm already a little above 800€.
  12. I just think that a cheap cooler can make the cpu run smoother and a little less hotter than usual even if you're not thinking of overclocking it
  13. why 600w? I think 500 its more than enough... I would like that cooler but my budget doesn't allow that :c
