  2. Hey yall, I built my current PC in 2015, Specs: Intel Xeon 1230 v3 Nvidia GTX 970 16 gb ram 2x Raid zero SSD 240gb I want to move up to 1440p gaming above 60 fps. I am centering my build around the ROG Swift PG279QZ and 2x Acer V277U for triple monitor setup. I have thrown this together so far: i5 9400F $150.00 MSI Gaming RTX 2070 $454.99 RMX750x (renewed price) $84.99 2 TB Seagate HDD $54.99 Noctua NH-U12S $57.99 Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB $147.99 970 EVO 1tb M.2 NVMe $169.99 Gigabyte Z390M matx mobo $136.99 Fractal Define Mini : $82.99 Rig Totals: $1340.91 Monitors + 2x Silverstone Tek Arms: $1012 What am I doing wrong? 3. Do you have an example of this "occasional wrong doing" that Linus and his team partake in?
  4. It was very well presented. The video was extremely thought out.
  5. I just watched the video and read some of the youtube comments and I am disappointed towards the people making stupid comments and I feel sympathetic towards LMG. They made this video and brought up a book that can be purchased. So many people in the comment section called "bullshit" saying they were just promoting this book and that they were going to make some money from the author or publisher. Tehran gave constructive criticism, basically said that the wiki page was better than the book, put up a controversy warning and really didnt say anything particularly good about the book. He showed how good the reviews were on Amazon that was it. He presented so many options. And still people called "bullshit" on his video. I realize that youtube comments are usually trolly and dumb but what more could they have said without actually saying they werent being sponsored. I mean Linus is a firm believer in being completely transparent with his audience... I feel for you Linus, your true followers know that LMG is better than that... We understand that you are a company and NEED to make money, but you would never do your audience wrong... I just want to wrap this rant up with a sincere thank you to LMG for making such good quality content that is FREE!
  6. I want a desk that is flat and has 4 legs. What is the go to option for a simple flat desk that has good build quality. Black would be nice too lol. Any help is appreciated.
  7. SPECS: Intel Xeon 1230v3 AMD HD 7850 Samsung 840 EVO I just upgraded from an Intel I3 4130 and plan to upgrade to a 970 in the near future. I will definitely see a major performance increase when I get the 970 since I really just game on my PC. But until then what things will I see a performance increase in? Right now I feel like my PC is one of those Alienware PCs with super high end CPUs and mid range GPUs... The 970 will definitely help though. Also, did I make a good upgrade decision?
  8. Right!! So im guessing it would be better to go with a PCIe card instead of USB? Are their any that you would recommend? I dont know much about Capture cards. Ive only really heard of Avermedia Cards. Which one would give me the best response times?
  9. To be clear. I am not trying to record gameplay, I simply just want to play the game through my PC. Basically I want a window that displays the xbox's video output inside of windows. To avoid having to change monitor inputs and to MIx my audio in my PC.
  10. Halo MCC is the game I am trying to do this with.. Trust me, I would if I could lol...
  11. Basically what I am trying to say is I want a window inside of my OS displaying the video from my console so I can control audio, alt tab out of the game, and basically be playing a PC game even though I am on a peasant box lol. I dont like using my monitor as an input because managing audio becomes annoying.
  12. I dont need a capture card to run dual monitors, What capture card has the lowest response time on the market?
  13. This saddens me... Wouldnt it just be cheaper to buy a second monitor anyway?
  14. Ive seen when people capture game footage from their consoles onto their PC they have a preview window that shows a live stream of the game they are playing on their console inside a window in Windows 7 etc.. What is the best way for me to use my computer as an Input for a console? So I can have the console playing video straight through my PC. any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry for posting this here. I wasnt sure what forum group would be best.
