I upgraded the bios of tomahawk b450 to version 7C02v1C. Now I get several BSOD especially when it comes to net work activities. For exmple I tried to access my pc with teaviewer and I after some seconds it crashed or yesterday I tried to download the latest vmware workstation update and it crashed while downloading. I also had upgraded the amd chipset drivers to latest version before i updated the bios and it worked well without any BSOD. Any ideas?

I changed hardware recently because my sabertooth z97 died and I got an msi b450 tomahawk. I noticed that the sound is a bit different,at least when listening to music. Sabertooth had a realtek ac1150 codec and b450 has an ac892. I enjoyed more the sound of my previous mobo on p5800 speakers. So if I get a sound card will I see any difference on sound?

I stopped the task and changed usb port. From front port(usb 3) to a rear ss port and now I'm getting 150mb/s. I was taking 20 before that. Why front ports behave like usb2? Is there a separate usb3 driver for front ports?

Hi. I have noticed that the transfer rates between disks on my system are low, at least lower than intel platform for the same tasks. My system now has an ryzen 3600 paired with b450 tomahawk. I checked the device manager and sata controller is which is installed is from Microsoft(standard sata ahci controller) and not AMD. Maybe that is the problem. I have installed latest AMD Chipset Drivers (1.8.19.0915). Any ideas?

Yes, that is what I was talking about. So, which cpu do you suggest between 2600, 2700 and 3600(I use pc for VMs, gaming) and what mobo to pair it with. I was looking some b450 mobos like tuf series, as I am coming from sabertooth and some msi.

I was having a look at benchmarks and reviews for 3600. What concerns me from what I read, is that a lot of people are mentioning high temps compared to 2600 or 2700.

I tend to intel more and I don't know how performs 3600 in games and know nothing for overclocking a rysen.

My system shuts down properly at night but cannot boot easily in the morning. I must unplug hardware to boot but not a specific hardware each time. This goes for about a week now. I tried ram sticks one by one. I tried another set of ram. I tried a different psu. I unplugged the gpu and used the onboard. Disks in different slots. One disk at a time. Cleared CMOS. Downgraded and then upgraded mobo bios. Sometimes it stays at black screen, after that I shut down an tried again. Then it take much longer to post and there is a message "bios is updating. do not shut down or reboot" and it hangs there. After many efforts it will post. The battery is ok. When it doesn't post, sometimes cpu_led lights on and the other times boot_device_led lights on. If I have it powered on for a while and shut down it posts immediately. I assume the mobo became faulty but I don't get any BSOD during usage or stress tests. Any ideas?

It is my concern but as far as I know the law says that if the product is not sold any more, you get something with similar value. Be sure that I will fight too if I need to.

There is a chance that I RMA my mobo(sabertooth z97 mk2 next week and get a newer model. As 1150 socket mobos are not sold any more ,the shop probably will give me a 1151 socket. In this case I will change my cpu and ram as well. So my question is: which is better way to avoid installing windows again. Just to uninstall all drivers, change the hardware and install the new or use syspre, change the hardware and then install the new drivers?

I launched grub customizer to add the script and I saw that the entry was there at the bottom of the list, I 'm 99% sure there wasn't the other day. So, I just saved and closed the program than just closing and then rebooted. The entry was there this time. Thank you for your time.

Is a r9 290 capable for 1440p at ~40fps for games like ac origins(even with a slight oc)? I want to buy a 32inch monitor with freesync.
