  1. @Archangel1994 alright dude then i just got you wrong, sorry man. it's just so confusing that everybody is telling you something different. ^^ thanks for the answer though. helps me a lot. @TokyoSin thanks man. appreciate it. is a great help.
  2. @Pearsonia thanks for the answer dude, i will consider that again and see what i can get out of my budget. the next answer by you @Archangel1994 is exactly why i'm so confused because you always read different stuff considering that you need 650 watts or that even 650 watts is not enough and you need at least 750 watts and i'm really really confused and I would love to know WHY i would need a 750 watts PSU while 650 watts seems fairly enough to me. ^^ Edit: maybe I wasnt clear enough when writing "2x gigabyte gtx 660ti windforce". at the moment, i have 1 gtx 660ti and I would need the new PSU to power the second one. not to power a 3rd one as it maybe was assumed.
  3. Hey guys! Since I want to run an SLI configuration in my system really soon and my PSU doesnt support as many PCI-e cables as I need, I want to buy a new PSU. It should be at least semi-modular and should have at least 80 Plus gold, while not getting too far over $100 in price. Which one do you think is best for the following config? CPU: Intel core 2 quad Q9650 @ 3,00 ghz M/B: ASUS p5n-d GPU: 2x gigabyte gtx 660ti windforce and some fans and harddrives of course. And please dont blame me for buying another 660 instead of selling my own and spending the money on a better single gpu. I know that single gpus run more stable and are less power-intensive but I will have them for $130! so like $65 each, which is an absolutely great deal, i find anyway. Cheers guys!
  4. thanks for all the answers guys! appreciate it.
  5. Hey guys so, my friend wants to sell me his gtx 660ti, which I also have and I was thinking of running them in sli, but since my psu only has 2 pci-e cables, I wanted to buy 2 splitters, one for each of the cables, so I can connect both cards. is that actually possible? or are there issues concerning watts and stuff like that? Cheers!
  6. @Stupidtiggers i think so, but i'm not too sure. gotta look that up later. but thanks for the advice anyway.
  7. Thank you guys, it's a great help.
  8. Hey guys! Since I don't have too much money to upgrade my PC all the time, I'm thinking of overclocking my CPU for quite a while now. But my question is: Can I even overclock my system to an amout that makes it actually worth it? My specs are: CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.00 GHz Cooler: Zalman CNPS 9700 Nvidia Edition M/B: Asus p5n-d If you need more information about my system to be able to say something about potential overclocks, feel free to ask. Cheers guys!
