So here I am still using an Intel Core2 Duo E8400 in 2020 . It's been in my possession since 2009 . But I've been saving for an upgrade which is due a long time . I've searched my local PC hardware shops and found deals on some used components . I'm more or less fixed on these components but would like your opinion on it . Motherboard: ASUS H97 PLUS (47$) Processor: Intel Core i5 4570(55$) or 4590(60$) RAM: 4GB DDR3 Kingston 1600 MHz (27$) GPU: Gigabyte RX580 8GB (ex.mining card) (148$) I'd transfer my old 2TB hard drive for bulk storage .The SSD and PSU will be brand new units . Would like some suggestions on the SSD as I'm looking for a 256GB capacity with DRAM cache and would like to populate the m.2 slot on my motherboard . I basically play games on my free time . But need the machine to run AUTOCAD .

So I've got a Cooler master N600 case . I was thinking of installing a Cooler Master Nepton 240M because there's a discount on it . But The Case I own isn't in the compatibility List of the Cooler Master Page . So should I get it ? I mean the Case does support 140*2 Radiators ... Then I was hoping to upgrade to Skylake this cristmas . Would this Cooler fit a 1151 socket ???

So I have a Dead Macbook Pro Retina 2014 . I think It has a 256 GB M.2 SSD in it . If I try to use it on my ASUS Z97-Pro Gamer would It work ??? Need some suggestions

So i've finally made a rough budget of $500 for my new build(Tower only) . But everything's screwed up... I've chosen an ASUS B85 Pro-Gamer motherboard , I want to upgrade to a 5th gen CPU later , but should I buy a 9 series motherboard for that ??? ... For Haswell I've got an Intel core i5 4570 in mind , no Idea on the Broadwell though... Shoulld I use DDR3 or DDR4 ??? it's a tough choice because then I have to change the motherboard... The PSU & GPU are for later upgrade... but I guess I'll do a crossfire or SLI later... So should I go 4th gen or 5th gen ? DDR3 or DDR4 ? which Motherboard ? Which Processor ? Suggest me...
