  1. This is the cheapest gigabit option I've found(https://www.kabum.com.br/produto/98850/access-point-tp-link-wireless-dual-band-gigabit-montavel-em-teto-ac1350-versao-3-0-eap225?gclid=CjwKCAiAiML-BRAAEiwAuWVggqqHc9bF5RFSa5V2A3B2pUqws4cJxqdDcR-gH1YuWagYaF3kPwrHrRoCedIQAvD_BwE), sorry for the website in Portuguese, and it still is double the price of those routers I mentioned. I just tend to believe 1 of those would not solve my problem, you know? Do you think getting the routers would be a terrible ideia, or just not as ideal as getting a couple of access points? I'm still kinda leaning torward the double router setup, mostly because of costs. Are those bad routers??
  2. That makes sense, I'm assuming you're comparing 1 router vs 1 access point, but wouldn't 3 routers still produce better signal strength than 1 access point? Buying 2 access points would be basically double the cost of buying 2 of any of those routes I mentioned.
  3. So I did consider getting an Access Point rather than multiple routers, but the point is, at least in Brazil, getting a decent gigabit access point would be basically the same price (a little over actually) as getting two of theses routers I mentioned, and I'm not quite 100% sure I would be able to get the same signal coverage (because of my problem with thick walls and mirrors all over) for 5.0GHz on the access point as getting two of those routers, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!
  4. Since my apartment (about 140m² ) has lots of thick walls and several mirrors I have lots of trouble getting wifi to work well everywhere at decent speeds. So over a year ago decided to get two basic routers (besides the one my ISP already gave me, so 3 in total), and spread them across the house in order to get good wifi to all rooms. However, recently I upgraded my internet to 250 Mbps, and now I need to upgrade the 2 extra routers to gigabit ones, and I'm having trouble deciding which ones to get. Basically my main options are: - TP Link Archer C6 (https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-c6/#specifications) - ASUS RT-AC59U (https://www.asus.com/Networking-IoT-Servers/WiFi-Routers/ASUS-WiFi-Routers/RT-AC59U/techspec/) It might seem like an overkill, to have 3 (the ISP one + 2 of my own) gigabit dual band routers at home, but my plan is to get 5 GHz wifi in every room of the apartment(2.4 just doesn't do it anymore nowadays, so I hope to disable it across all the devices), so I can actually get nice speeds wherever I am. I'm no net expert, but I do know more than your basic user, however I don't quite know how to tell the difference/which is better out of those routers. I'm basically looking to understand why one is better than the other, or why should I choose one over the other since I wanna purchase something that I won't need to upgrade for a while. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've seen from reviews online, they seem to be pretty close in performance all over, with the ASUS having a few more configuration options. I live in Brazil, so these options were the ones I managed to find at decent prices, but feel free to suggest others around this price range! Any tips/suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
  5. Yeah, I've heard that, but no one has explained to me yet why not the Amor mk2 OC in specific haha
  6. Even considering it's a MK2 OC? Why not the MSI one?
  7. So I've been looking around lately, and I've found these few options of 580's, mostly on the same price range, but I'm not sure which one to get! Can you guys help? (I'm from Brazil, so there are few available in market) RX 580 XFX 8GB OC+ GTS XXX Edition -> https://www.terabyteshop.com.br/produto/7611/placa-de-video-xfx-radeon-rx-580-8gb-oc-gts-xxx-edition-rx-580p8dfd6-gddr5 RX 580 GIGABYTE 8GB -> https://www.terabyteshop.com.br/produto/7543/placa-de-video-gigabyte-radeon-rx-580-gaming-8g-gv-rx580gaming-8gd-8gb-gddr5 RX 580 MSI 8GB Armor MK2 OC -> https://www.kabum.com.br/produto/88643/placa-de-video-vga-amd-sapphire-radeon-rx-580-pulse-4gb-gddr5-pci-e-dual-hdmi-dvi-d-dual-dp-oc-w-backplate-11265-09-20g RX 580 Sapphire PULSE 4GB -> https://www.kabum.com.br/produto/95731/placa-de-video-msi-amd-radeon-rx-580-armor-mk2-8g-oc-gddr5 Any tips are appreciated!
  8. Okay, thanks! I'll try to give another look around and see if can get any better options! So, would you agree that these should be my top list? 1 - RX 580 XFX 8GB 2 - RX 580 Sapphire 8GB 3 - RX 580 MSI Armor MK2 or XFX 4GB or Sapphire 4GB Do you have an opinion about the GYGABYTE one?
  9. Yeah, I always hear people saying that! Is it also true about the MSI Armor 2? that was one of my main options honestly! Why is it so bad? simply bad temps? Let's say I'd have to decide between a MSI Amor 2 8gb vs a XFX 4gb or a Sapphire Nitro+ 4gb , should I still not choose the armor?
  10. Really? I've heard some people not recommending the PowerColor model! You've never had problems or upsets with it?
  11. Hey there! I've had a MSI 480 4gb for a long time, but it had a problem and the warranty is giving me my money back so I'm looking at options on the price range of the gtx 1060 and rx 580(which have similar price tags in Brazil) to decide my replacement. Is there a real answer about what's best between the two? Is it as simple as just going with whatever has more VRAM and staying away from known bad manufacturers? Any tips are very welcomed!
  12. Okay, thank you very much! Will consider it!
  13. Yes, that's basically what I have been doing lately! I play Counter Strike and Kerbal Space Program the most, which are both not really heavy on the pc, and sometimes GTA V. I just figured it might be the time to upgrade something on the build, you know? Mostly because of my video editing and gaming needs.I was thinking on the CPU and maybe 16GB RAM, but I don't know if that would require me to upgrade the MOBO as well. I'm just trying to look at options ang get a few tips!
  14. 1080p moslty! Sorry haha! Don't you think it would be a bad choice to buy a 4th gen i7 at this point? I might be wrong here, but I do believe what holds back on my build the most it my processor.
