  1. Alllllrighty, so I'm interested in a laptop for DAW stuff and recording, I've never owned a laptop, I've always been a desktop guy, so I need some suggestions. I'd like to keep it around $300 but I can flex. I honestly have no idea how much a laptop for this type of stuff would cost, not exactly sure how CPU intensive DAW programs are on laptops either >_> Thanks, folks.
  2. Hmm, would a mini-itx be a better idea? It doesn't have to be a laptop, I was just gonna go with one for convenience.
  3. I'm not exactly sure what VSTS is lol, it's not really EDM music, lots of different genres, just wanna make some stuff in DAW, but yeah I'd be recording vocals and some guitar.

How do I get rid of the stupid dust in my case?

Check the Phanteks site and see if they sell filters, dust is just a natural thing when it comes to desktops man >_< you could probably make a filter out materials from Home Depot. or something, and use some very weak magnets to stick it on. Just make sure the material isn't conductive.

Exhaust, why would you want to blow hot air into your case?

2 or 4 GB of VRAM

don't get the 960. get the 380. As to your question I suggest getting the 4gb version of a card. 2gb cards are starting to be not enough anymore.

I have the k70 and I HIGHLY recommend it. I've got the blue switch version with red LED's. I had a hard time finding one that had that setup.

    Case air flow

I've seen people on this forum that argued with me about hot air rising. Depending on the person, it can help. Why the hostility?

Best $50 microphone for making YouTube videos

Not sure, don't know if you can, idk what happened with mine but it wouldn't screw it, so I super-glued it. Then a family member stepped on the stand and broke it lol. also, always glad to help everyone on this forum was a big help when I put my rig together, so I'm returning the favor.

Sound stuttering after 20 mins of running my PC

Well, I mean, anything is possible in the world of computers but I doubt it. Since you brought it up, would you mind giving me your idle and load temps?

Best $50 microphone for making YouTube videos

I have the snowball ice, the mic itself is good but the stand it comes with is a PoS. Only complaint I have with it is it picks up EVERYTHING, my friend can hear what I'm doing outside of my room even with my door shut, so if you have a loud house I wouldn't suggest it. If you have a quiet home, I do suggest it.

Not sure if an integrated sound card can cause this problem but it could possibly be.
