the old one was an old msi (forgot the name) and this one is a crosshair vii hero

no, but i used it on my last mobo and it was a lot better than this one

it doesnt like sound back its just really off, tried playing a game of apex and it was shit.

Hi, I switched mobos today and now the sound is way off. To start, at first it was detected by "Razer Kraken 7.1" and then now its displayed by "conexant usb audio" The audio in general sounds really metallic and distorted, with some sounds being way too loud and others being quiet. I know this headset works cause I used it on the other mobo but on this one it sounds like shit for some reason and idk why.

I edit with Sony Vegas/After Effects, play VR and play a little bit of League.

so the model i have doesnt require one?

i dont plan on overclocking right now
